"I detest confessions..." No wonder his actual last romance line is "You are terribly dull and I hate you." Boy is so soft inside yet so allergic to being honest about feelings xD
Yeah, but that is a perspective only female inquisitors will have. To a male romancing him, it does ring a lot like homophobia, so it can be quite upsetting.
Heinara Quinn Yes, a female Inquisitor can flirt with him and thus get this scene. You also get some unique dialogue after the scene with Dorian's father. Obviously you can't enter a relationship, but he enjoys flirting anyway.
I know this is too late to comment but the fact that Bioware confirmed that they will be making the DA4, I wish they make Dorian as a potential candidate for female romance for the result of Iron Bull's betrayal. Gosh, I never wanted to use a mod to make him love my female inquisitor. But it seems like Dorian's after a man at all, save my heart and prepared my body and soul for Solas cause I've been hearing that he may be corrupted, my poor inquisitor's heart 😭💔
That is what fan fiction is for LOL. He is fine the way he is although I wish he was an option to dance with at the ball of Empress Celene. Not as a romance option just as a friend.
@@ShayaA284 No, the blood magic was specifically about turning him straight as an analogue to conversion therapy. Yes, it likely wouldn't have solved the problem even if it had worked.
That WOULD make for the biggest irony in Thedas history. Family is one thing, but the vulnerability in love is quite different. Trauma from love does things. You do see people who choose gay relationships as a reaction to a bad straight one. Yes, it’s brushed off as “this is who I really am”, but it took trauma to see it. And there are people who switch from gay to straight and blame some sort of trauma for why they were gay in the first place. Point is, people can change.
