I remember when Dorinda came to our church. All us teenage boys were like we were never washing our hands after we shook her hands. That’s how good she looked 😂😂😂
You gotta remember this this was convocation time I am sure she didn’t get a chance to do a sufficient rehearsal with this choir. She probably just rehearsed this choir before the service started.
Dr. Cole is killing this! And I love how the organist (Bro. Jackson) and the bassist are comping bass simultaneously! You don’t hear that anymore in gospel music! 🎹🎹🎤🔥
Okay Ima need Dorinda to record this soon...Bring that Church Sound on back to the Gospel Industry!!! She can bring this hairstyle/cut wit her too LoL I LOVE THIS!!!
She was truly sanging. Only person I have seen driving a song and correct the musician. At 4:20, and went back into it. LOL!! Gotta love every one of the Clark Sisters.
I visited Faith Temple when they first opened. I couldn't believe the sounds I was hearing from that organ, and have been consistently amazed ever since. (Side note... we had the same piano teacher.) Mr Eddie Pryor. Mr. Pryor told me he didn't teach Derrick any of those chords. He was just naturally gifted!
Good GOD of mercy right now GOD THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR FAVOR MERCY & GRACE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💎💎💎💎 I thought about the times when I thought about committing suicide from being overwhelmed & depressed & dealing with low self esteem THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING A RIGHT NOW GOD 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👑
I think I heard somebody say that this was the best rendition of this song by Miss Clark Dorinda but if you listen to the one with her in the pink sleeved outfit dancing on the stage, it’ll be hard. Tell the difference between which one is better. it’ll be hard but listen to you anyway I love you Mr. in the car clothes you are the best. I mean you can sing a song you can run it like I don’t know what when the Lord is so pleased with you. Thank you for your talent thank you for letting the Lord use you and bringing you into our life and be blessed and know that God loves you no matter whatGod he is thank you man. You be blessed bye-bye
I'm confused how they can just stand there!!!! Every time the repetitive"he's a right now God" part towards the end sends me into a dancing shouting praise!!!! My Lord. I don't think she knew she wrote that song for herself!!!!!
She. Sung. That. JESUS! Got me up in here shuddering in the midnight hours. If this song went on any longer I was about to be running laps around my house!
Yes! I remember when she was the VP! Nothing But Dr. Clark inside her. I was in Dr. Clark’s Choir and I remember after Dr. Clark passed Dorinda became Vice. But she deserves the MP.
Dorinda’s ear is amazing. She effortlessly filled in those gaps and was still on time and on beat with the choir. I can hear her influence on 90s R&B with those ad-libs and runs. She was jammin on this one!
@@faafafineartist I was JUST thinking this! Whitney was definitely influenced by Auntie Do's scats and riffs especially her improv @4:38. I've heard Whitney do something similar in several songs.
@@thep2340 , That's true. This song is not inspired by 90's r&b. I made a mistake. I must've been tired. 😊 In general, I've heard many Gospel songs with the 90's r&b sound.
Only one woman went inn... & she was in the spirit... they should've held some of them cute folk & left her alone... i sometimes hate it when folks does that to me... but her & dorinda both came out with their blessings
I'm a Muslim and turned it loose right here, in my living room. I'm spiritual and that's my relationship with the Almighty and I know he was pleased. I'm with you on this powerful praise song! The Almighty was moving and so was I. 🙌
@@noviwhitfield3261 alright na dats wat am talkin hallelujah the spirit of God moves however he wants to this encouraged me so much funny part is this video was recorded in the 90s and they weren't understanding the assignment while being cogic at that just goes to show how powerful God is to take over even in this modern day time frfr
LOL, @ 1:59 the camera person is sooooo wrong for noting the lady who seems not to know the words! The point remains she is yet praising God. Love it! I Soo love Dorinda!
The Clark Sisters sang at our church before IM SURE . I just can’t remember but I may have just saw Karen bc I remember that hair. Apostolic Faith Church on Indiana ave in Chicago (CHI TOWN!) we have a huge church and broadcast. I remember seeing their hairstyles😍 and them being escorted into the church. I was just standing there looking lol I had no idea who I was looking at smh it was in the late 90’s maybe early 2000’s I’m 37 now . Wow
