@missj26 I agree Jas...if you notice when she got to the "And I Know..." part of the song, Dorinda told her not to do that run at the end of know (which almost everybody does) because that is a cop-out!! Dorinda was teaching her that if she breathes correctly, she can hold notes longer. It was great to learn from a true legend. Don't get me wrong, I do love runs, but they have their place in songs.
I LOVE DORINDA!!!!!! THATS HOW YOU MENTOR IN SINGING! THE LOVE SHE SHOWED AND DIDN'T FORCE OR BASH SHE DID IT OUT OF LOVE AND LOOK AT THE RESULT!! LORD DORINDA IS NEEDED IN OUR CHURCHES TODAY!!!!!!!!! LOVE YA DORINDA!!!!!!!
Edward E If Dorinda didn't preach as frequently as she does, her performances would be a lot better. Her voice is on the thin side(vocal surgery when she was 16) as well, so exertion during like her first song of a concert, and she's going to be hoarse.
+Brittany Johns When DCC is really rested...her voice is SUPER powerful and comes strong. But when she's tired and wear and tear, she's hoarse. Rest does a lot for your voice.
ppl kill me because they feel doing runs will make the song sound better..but sing the song then do you runs..CM I missed this show case this was learning experience.
