We really appreciate all you do, David, for teaching and learning- i.e.New York Historical Society, Gilder Lehrman Institute; my students benefit greatly from these programs. This video will be a great companion to Professor Goodwin’s book! My favorite part is her chapter on the working relationship between Ted Sorensen and her husband! I will be able to use this to bring to life a unique and efficient writing routine both used when crafting President Kennedy’s campaign speeches and when writing in general! Thank you!

I am so grateful David, that you did this interview. I have followed Doris & her works, and once went to her appearance to listen to her speak. She is phenomenal, and so was this interview. Thank you.

I pre ordered this book and devoured it upon arrival. Thank you for writing this treasure! Also, I’m curious about Dick’s ethnicity. The photos of him as a young man, remind me of my father, who was from Iran. Beautiful big brown eyes! I hope to learn of his heritage.
