Dorm: Louisiana State University, Blake Hall (traditional side)
Inexpensive to put together, but still very cute! We went with a purple/gray/white theme, and did a few DIYs!
*I do not claim any of the music included in this video
Sorry for the weak quality guys :/ I just have an average camera haha

Omg, I love your video! You deserve tens of thousands of subscribers because your channel is so amazing! I love this and your dorm seems so nice and cozy. Also, I always thought that having a wardrobe rather than a built-in closet would be a lot worse but at LSU it seems like it works out great! How is it?

Cecile Strasser aw thank you so much! I’m not in the dorm anymore but from what I can remember, the wardrobe fit very nicely and had a lot of space, more than meets the eye! Usually the dorms with built in things and bunkable beds... those are the ones with less space. Like in Blake hall our beds were not bunkable but we had twice or even 3x the amount of space as the dorms with bunkable beds and built in stuff in my opinion!

I'll be doing the summer engineering program. Can't wait to stay on campus for at least a week to get that college feel! This video helped me a lot on why I really want to attend LSU in 2019! I'm only a sophomore in high school ;(

That's so exciting! I know a lot of people who are engineer majors and most of them live in LaVille hall! You should check out their dorms-- they also have the honors dorms there which are really nice! Good luck this summer!

I want to study ELOP in LSU (I’m an international student) but my GPA in math of grade 10-11 were low, but I have an improved math GPA in grade 12, can it’s possible for me to be accepted ? Thank you for your help!

Vivian Phan yeah it’s very possible for you to get in, even if your math scores are low. Make sure your math ACT/SAT score is passable or that you have a good math grade on your transcript or good overall gpa. I know loads of people who took an alternative test for math to get into LSU because their scores were low! But it sounds like you won’t even have to do that

@@atsumu5875 Pretty well lol. I'm a senior and finished applying to LSU a few weeks ago. Was curious about others who planned on going. Not going to college can be seen as bad but it all depends on what your plan is for yourself and what you want in your life. 🔥

TraeRay hope it's not too late to answer, but you will get in. The only school in Louisiana that will reject anyone is Tulane. You don't have to worry at all about getting in. Scholarships are pretty hard to get though.

I hesitate between Acadian Hall & Blake and between a suite style bath or hall bath .. McVoy is my least favourite but it is the most affordable. Anyway will you do some vlogs ? Or videos speaking about LSU ? :)

I stayed in Acadian Hall, the new side and it was amazing!! The closet was HUGE (walk-in) and there was a sink in the room.

Nita Stelly it depends on scholarships, loans, where you live, and lots of other factors. It can get really pricey but it’s worth it! (I have lots of loans that help)

Are the dorms co ed? My boyfriend are going there together next year. (Him a freshman me and a transfer) and we were hoping to room together if that’s possible? I remember hearing somewhere that they are but I’m not sure

Karaleigh Loya pretty sure most are coed but the halls will be girls or boys. So you could be on the same building and floor. Miller Hall is all girls

I live in Texas and it's like a 5 and a half hour drive from my house which isn't to bad. The amount of time I've spent this semester just preparing to transfer is insane. I'm glad you like it, hopefully I'll be there soon!

yes, there is a whole roommate matching process that happens, so you choose who your roommate is even if it's someone random!

Yes! The only part that gets tricky is where you want to live-- you have to pick a dorm where both of you are eligible to live. My roommate and I lived in a traditional dorm, aka anyone with any major could live there, and we requested each other through the portal. Watch my dorm process video for more info :)
