I find it kind of ironic that i feel like crying to this remastered monstrosity that used to be something so disgusting. Hes SO tragic in the remaster like OH MY GOD 😭😭 the fact that he did it for John at the start, the person that he later tasked to kill HIM at the end jesus christ. I clap to the writers of the remaster and especially to sparky who did a wonderful job👏👏
I think he kind of also did it because he hates bullies. In one tape he says he saw a kid be bullied and he needed a moment alone so he could have been bullied himself
holy shit they made Garvey an actual good character! congrats on the writers that somehow saved this game from being just a "the fangame made by a pedo/necrophile" and maybe being remembered as something better
Garvey in the Remastered version cares about his own family and siblings and that's why he kills Tom for bullying John, but Garvey in the Original version is son of a...
In my opinion the killer being that sick and twisted made the story extra realistic and dark not to mention a breath of fresh air to the killer but that’s just my opinion the remaster is also really good
@@decomposingdave2902I'm not gonna say anything but all I'm gonna say is his motive in the original was terrible, sparky who did voice Garvey in the original didn't like doing the voice acting, while in the remastered he has a proper and better motive and sparky has full control of him. All the tapes in the remastered wasn't like a script from the developers but instead his own idea
@@idkwhatocallthis555 yes i agree Garveys motive was ridiculous and so was him actually having purple skin not to mention poor voice acting in the tapes but you got to admit him being more twisted murderous and vile was a nice breath of fresh air in fnaf
I really love how they made the purple guy in this game out to be a tragic villain, I mean I don't agree with what he did to get avenge on the kids that almost killed his little foster brother. But I do feel some what sorry for him in a way.
8:38 Okay listen, I’m not gonna try to justify what he did, but Garvey’s voice just breaks my heart here. “It was supposed to be his day, it’s all wrong…!!!” These four brothers were just royally screwed from the get-go.
I do think the original should be remembered for how not to write you villains, and the new for how to do it right. I for some reason feel the 15 year old being raped to death is just filler because the old weightier could not make the character more interesting.
Bro I just put two and two together and the player character you play as is John but grown. "John, if you hear this, and I know you will" "John, put an end to it." BOOM! John listened, and now he's doing what he was asked. Also I'm really glad they fixed this game and made Garvey a broken good character unlike the original who talked about what he did to the 15 year old girl and being just flat out evil.
