Dorothy Parker reads "One Perfect Rose"

My tribute to Dorothy Everday I get a Rose, not knowing, By whom sent. No note, no signature of gent. Couldn't some One please I say send the whole goddam bouquet.....

Oh wow! One of my favorite poets reading one of my favorite poems! The master's legendary wit is in her deep voice.

Priceless! Conforms to the mind set of every gold-digger which is timeless. Just like Dorothy Parker. Simple but it says it!

She would make an awesome lawyer because she's smart, has a strong sense of justice, and is willing to defend people being punished for B.S. charges(Sacco and Vanzetti).

What an incredibly beautiul voice - and it "is" her writing. A perfect match. No one else could do this justice! I think of Jennifer Jason Leigh and the way she butchered Parker in Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle. In those days, however, people knew how to read their own work.

Reminds me of the Janis Joplin tune, Lord won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz.
