She knows the pitches. She's trying to express the sadness and anxiety of a sailor in becalmed waters while still starting each phrase quiet, building up, and ending quiet, one of the more difficult tricks vocal artists can do. I like that her facial expressions are like that of a violinist or other instrumentalist performing. She's being a musician.

Not quite anticipating the pitch of certain notes but a very solid performance of, "one of those songs which looks easy on paper!"

i love this artist. she's frickin' amazing!!!!! i'm not familiar with this song, but it seems like she was fishing for the notes a few times? ehhh, who cares. if this is a "bad night" for her, i can't imagine what a good one is....!!! she is the ultimate for me. gorgeous tone, poised, musical, sensitive, communicative, beautiful...she's got it all. the beauty of live performance is the screw ups can be overlooked and the awesome parts reveled in!!!
