We had a fantastic four day break away in Dorset staying on a working farm in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. It was so peaceful and so beautiful with stunning views from our lounge window.
We visited a lot of places on the way to Dorset and when we were there including Petersfield Lake, Exton with beautiful thatched cottages and a wonderful little Church, a stunning Church in Wilton which took my breath away, The Fovant Badges, Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Bulbarrow Hill, again with stunning views across the countryside, Milton Abbas, The Blue Pool, Swanage and a mystical buried Church.

Oh yes Janice, we did, it was such a lovely four days exploring and now I love Dorset! Definitely want to go back, and stay at the same place, which was really nice. There's two bedrooms 😊

Thanks Jilly, we had a great time and saw so much in the short time we were there; hopefully we will go back again soon and show you more. The Dorset thatched cottages were so pretty, I could live there! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Ky loved exploring new territory 🐶 Have a lovely weekend with Madge xx

I saved the spooky bit 'til last 😃 It was very interesting and glad we saw it. Oh no, Ky wasn't pleased that he couldn't have a dip, as you can imagine. It was another great place to visit. We really enjoyed our trip. Can't wait to go again. Thanks for watching Jean 🥰

Hi Lynn Richard and Ky wow what a lovely trip you had wonderful places you visited. Milton church is magnificent and and you say takes your breath away. Loved your video will watch it again . Ky was itching to get into the blue pool I could say a lot more but it would take up lot of your time see you on the next video take care and have a good bank holiday 😀 ❤xxx

You packed a lot into 3 nights. Well done. We haven't been to the blue pool since they opened the rope bridge - the longest in the UK (I think). Beautiful film showing off some brilliant places in Dorset. Your caravan looked so cosy. Xx

Hi Rachel, thanks for watching. We certainly did pack a lot in, and we enjoyed everywhere we went, Dorset is so beautiful isn't it. I think I left part of my heart there ❤ I loved The Blue Pool, it was really magical; the rope bridge was a wee bit scary 😄

Really enjoyed this video Lynn, animals churches and the Spitfire. I have always been interested in the Spitfire as one of my Relatives was on the design team. Never heard of the Fovant badges but I am very interested in the first world war, not the battles but the human side.

Oh I am so pleased you enjoyed it John, thank you for watching. We too are interested in the Spitfire and the Lancaster. Richard's father was on a Lancaster during the war and we often see the spitfire fly over near us as it flies from Goodwood on 'pleasure trips'. I've never heard of the Badges either and when we drove past I just had to turn around and have a look; very interesting to see. A delightful video to watch. Hopefully, you had some lardy cake in Shaftesbury, they still have a good bakers there, I think. Not yet been to Milton Abbas, but the storty behind it is interesting. Highlight for me was the hidden church. Was that a stone coffin? Some remarkable surviviors including what appeared to be the font. So much in this couintry that even now we don't know about.

I think I left part of my heart behind, it was so beautiful in many ways. Milton Abbas was lovely to visit. I watched one of Daves videos and thought we must go there! Didn’t disappoint, and it was nice to find the nature trail behind the church. No Lardy cake I’m afraid Bernie, we didn’t have enough time to explore Shaftesbury, there was so much I wanted to cram in. The buried church was fascinating. Here is something I read about it online ….. It was built in the Norman times and all that remains forms the crypt in which some original stone coffins lie. The crypt was buried and forgotten for many years, but it was stumbled upon in 1910 by a local vicar who set about restoring to its current condition. It is open to the public and two services a year are held there in the open air. Yes this country has so much to offer indeed 🥰

Good morning Lynn. We've been waiting for this and it didn't disappoint. Your familiar style, but longer. Is that the longest video you've made to date? Some very clever art work in there, but then there usually is. Great camera work too. Some of the places I recognised and some I didn't. Was Exton the village near Warnford? Or was it another one. I agree with you about that beautiful church in Wilton. The first time I ever went in there, I was amazed. More like a cathedral inside. Where was the beach? Truly remarkable piece of film. Thank you all.

I’m not sure if this is the longest video I have made, possibly, as there was a lot of editing to do and it did take quite a while. I think our three day road trip to Milton Keynes was nearly as long. Yes Exton is just about two miles from Warnford and the beach was Swanage. Thanks so much for watching 🥰
