@@DanjaundTom Girl, I know you're not trying to "face palm" when comfort level is an extremely personal choice, regardless of how many muscles the human foot has.
I'm pairing chunky trainers with a long dress during an upcoming trip because I want to wear a dress but I'm also doing a lot of walking that day. My feet will thank me later for choosing them over fashion don'ts 😅
@flamingodahlia3703 I have no toes on one foot so they don't stay on. Or when I find one that does my half foot slides out the sides. I'm 38. I've tried everything lol 🤦♀️
@flamingodahlia3703 the toe enclosure is usually about an inch below where my foot ends (like if u had toes it just covers that part) so my foot slides out sideways
Hi from California, Lydia! can you do a video of fall outfits with linen bottoms? Where I am doesn’t have a ‘winter’. I want to keep wearing my linen bottoms like linen maxi skirt or linen pants as it gets colder but how do I do that? Can you provide styling tips
Overall I always think moderation. Im not a minimalist by any means, but anything overdone is boring (extreme minimalistic or monochromatic or ALL modern or ALL anything) or migraine producing (like that "kitsch - kitchen" in the other video! 😳) but a dramatic flair here and there on a neutral backdrop is a good happy medium - but not so easy to nail. For example, It is difficult when you like rustic AND modern to put together pieces that are cohesive and not have a place end up looking like a mix of things on a table at a garage sale! But...maybe that's off topic? Regardless, I think its difficult to not go overboard with ANY style that you love. But too minimal looks like you live in a hospital, yet too colorful and busy looks like you have a secret fetish for carnivals and theme parks - Yuck! 😂 In home decor AND fashion I tend to start with what some may call boring colors (Black, white, beige) but add metallics here and there like a gold or brass tray or dish in the home, or a unique handbag or shoes or jewelery to an outfit. I think about my decor and I have a lot of black and beige and cream/ivory, but I have a gorgeous calf hair zebra print ottoman purchased years ago that I've used in various spots forever. I think Ralph Lauren pulls off the mix of dramatic with traditional with rustic extremely well. He'll do a zebra or leopard print pillow or accent ottoman with dark wood furniture and then throw in a modern chrome lamp. He has used velvet for decades in furniture and bedding too. I have some gorgeous deep red/burgundy shams and a coverlet from the 1990s which I've taken good care of and it still makes me smile everytime I use them on my bed (usually around the holidays). Ok...clearly I could talk to you about decor and fashion for a long time, but no matter what the trend - and no matter if we're talking about home decor or fashion- I think Mademoiselle Chanel's advice stands - less (of any one thing or extremes) is more!
Do not get a dress like that ...period ,,and short people cant wear a short scurt with flats ,so there are sooo many rules u cant win ,it boils down to your height and curve of body type ,and do not ever wear those black ballet flats 😅
Yall are so privileged. I'm poor, my feet are huge and I have constant swelling from scleroderma. Must be nice to live in a fantasy like this. Fuckin rich women I swear
I’m shocked about your dress. It dosen’t fit you 😟 print is ok but shape …. 🤷♀️ if sleeves will been cuted and two of three falbans - maybe dress will be look at you better 🤔
Because you’re so young and beautiful you can make a potato bag look pretty, but I was shocked about the dress. I never thought you’d like a dress with a pattern that is so loud. I also want to tell you since I found you I I’ve learned so much and changed so much! I love my new style , it’s not too far from where I was, I just needed a tweak, and I love it! Thank you!
Why is the answer strappy sandal to everything? A lot of people work in places where you can't wear open toe shoes... Also summer heat can equal sweaty feet so was hoping you would have some actual alternatives....
I also thought they would take you from your flat to the car, but not much further. They are not for walking, or to hold up to much wear (and probably still cost the world...). 🤷😞
I want your help bc I have no toes on one foot and can't wear anything but sneakers or tennis shoes and when I wear a dress it just. Sucks. 🤦♀️ I'm literally your don't do out of necessity lol haaaaalp meeed
I love all your shoes. Including the black pair at the beginning of the video. I have bought shoes for Summer with your tips in mind. I have returned a pair of pink satin flats with bows because they look to fussy. In favour of a gold flat toe loop pair and a flat ivory buckle slides. They will go with everything. Thank You.
I agree about the heels and linen skirt. But I’ve always felt the same about high heels and jeans. I know everyone does it but it will never be right for me. Loafers, ballet flats, seamless etc yes but heels - no, never, not under any circumstances.
Interesting I can learn about fashion and how to dress better and more conformable with style From you. I do see your point and I can agree I would love to have you as a friend or family to go shopping for clothes.
