just want to say I am so glad that these tips help you guys out! The main reason I started this channel was to inspire and help people who share the same love of nail art..and to be able to do that through these videos honestly means so much to me🥺 also I will be doing easy nail designs using dots sometime this month!
I appreciate your art and tutorials so much!! For a long time, I was a nail biter and just recently got over that awful, gross habit. Now that I have long healthy nails, I finally get to play around with color and get creative and your videos are really fun and inspiring to me💖 I don’t get why people don’t try doing they’re own nails more often.. it keeps the mind filled with creativity and also gives me something to do with my day lol
Every time I've tried polka dots they always end up not round! Now I know I was pressing too hard! Thanks for another great video! I would love to see a video of different designs to do with polka dots!
Thanks for making this video! It's exactly what I was looking for (detailed info, but simple & to the point) before using dotting tools for the first time.
I love your does and don’t videos! Also thank you for telling us about the bobby pin and toothpick because I don’t have a dotting tool so I will probably try that!
This is an amazing video, I tried doing polka dot nails awhile ago, and they completely failed. This was very helpful, definitely going to try and do it again! Thank you!
Big huge YES to the polka dot nail art video! I've seen several, but your stuff is always different than anyone else's, so I'd be super excited to see what you'd do!
At first I was like "meh, do I really need a dotting tool?" .. then "yay, bobby pin, I might have that somewhere!" .. and then "YaaaS Qween, toothpick!!" .. great tips, thank you :)
Gabby Morris yess plz and also can u do a video on how to not get air bubbles or bumps after you apply nail polish like how to paint your nails perfectly
katherine varghese I actually have a video on painting your nails here! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1tTbaXJlGx4.html and for the ombré video I will see if I have anymore tips besides the one I gave in the first video!
What I’ve learned when applying the top coats is never to go over the same area twice to avoids bleeding from the dot polish. I first do the middle with clear coat then the sides. If I want to another top coat I’ll wait an hour lol then first top coat acts like a shield
How long do you wait until they are dry? I waited over an hour before doing a top coat and it still slightly smudged. I even tried not to press to hard and use an ample amount of top coat so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Also, is there a suggestion of a top coat you recommend? I already have that matte top coat from the description
Kara Lowe really? Probably about 15 min..did you try pressing down the dots? I like the Sally Hansen big kwik dry top coat especially because the brush is clear so you can make sure there isn’t nail polish on it. I would try re-dipping the brush with each stroke over the nail too
