The Kiss.. Judas kiss? What was Christs kiss in this passage? Means You have the freedom to choose? Christs kiss was in this exchange meaning "I love you; either way that you may choose".... for me or against me...
As someone that grew up Christian but have since moved far away from organized faiths, i still hold the symbol of infinite, unconditional love close to my heart and get frustrated when people do hateful acts in Jesus' name because even if i don't believe in him as a person, i believe in him as a symbol, a figure that stands in for this message to us to keep love even when we might not understand the person or their reasoning. I try to do this more than most Christians i know and it frustrates me further but i send love unto them and hope for them to heal through whatever falseness they've consumed so they too can feel that real message and love of the figure of Jesus that they, themselves say they believe in, and learn to love their fellow man again, as Jesus would. I'm very much so someone who enjoys the idea of a figure that loves all humans as they are, through every step of them figuring things out. While it's not healthy for us to strive for as it can lead to very toxic, abusive, and dangerous situations and dynamics, it still enjoy knowing that it doesn't fall on me to be the martyr in that person who hurts or hates me's life but that someone (Jesus/infinite love) will always be available to them when they're ready to admit to their problem and do the work to heal, that energy will always love them and i hope bring guidance to them, directing them in the right thing to do and better themselves and so i just leave them in peace and love to keep my own.
