I'd like to see the full episode. Just where it cuts to the BBC logo at the end, Dot says tearfully "I thought you were dead!", at which Ethel is quite offended, telling Dot that she's not ready to snuff it just yet!

Actually, there've been two cases (that I know of) in EE where someone's been assumed dead who wasn't. There was here, when Dot assumed Ethel was dead, and also last Christmas, when Billy Mitchell thought Phil was dead and told Sharon to sit down, and then he stirred and Honey asked Billy " What kind of undertaker are you??!!"

i can still remember seeing this on the day it was aired i swear the main part of this is missing ..where Ethel talks about a baby she had during the war.. that she had to surrender
