Easter is on it's way and so is this fabulous dot mandala easter egg you are about to create!
Step by step dot mandala painting tutorial with relaxing painting music and guided text.
I hope you enjoy creating this beautiful Easter celebration piece as much as I did! It will be treasured every spring for many years to come!
I also found plaster eggs at Michaels so if you have one in town that's the place to go to get a beautiful plaster egg to paint on. Otherwise you can do what I did and make your own. I have also seen wood eggs as well, those would be perfect to paint on.
The dollarstore has white plastic eggs for painting, just be sure to sand it down slightly so the paint sticks well.

Great suggestion to lay pencil flat and turn egg for circles! This turned out so great and colorful. These would make wonderful gifts.

That almost looks like that super black paint that you used as a base. It must be because if the matte surface... I love how it turned out! 💕

Hi Mary thank you so much! 💕🙏 Yes it is a black matte paint 😁 and the plaster egg soaks in the paint a bit differently too I think

lovely video thanks for share I also saw some one use elastic band to create straight lines on an egg if people struggle with the pencil book method.

I really appreciate your comment ❤️ I developed a medical condition in my arms last year that makes it incredibly challenging to paint so I have to take a break from making tutorials. I am currently still undergoing testing to see what what is going on in hopes that I will be able to find a way back to painting again 🙏😁 as soon as I can I will be back to create more tutorials! I enjoyed watching this video all the way through. So beautiful. Can I paint a wooden egg with acrylic paint too? Is the preparation the same? Also, is there a type of sealer that I could apply at the end to make it really shiny? How long are you allowing for drying time as you progress with your dotting? Thank you

I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed the tutorial! Yes you can definitely paint on wood, it is one of my favorite materials to paint on! 😁 For a beautiful shiny finish that protects your artwork I high suggest a coat of resin however it's quite the process and expensive, so if you are looking for something less expensive and quick then a high gloss Acrylic sealer will work amazing too. The real difference between the two would be if your putting it outside, then resin definitely for it to be weather resistant, if it's inside the the Acrylic sealer is a great quick finish.
