I think what would be better instead, is if creeps grows stronger over time (faster than it is currently) and upgrade at certain time mark (i.e. 30min, 60min, etc) into supers and megas BUT only if you still have barracks. if you lose your barracks, your creeps will scales slower over time and will lose their upgrade (supers/megas) after some time (5min or 10min)
Making the creeps like that would run into the problem of requiring an amount of heroes on your team to be creep clearers. It has the potential to completely ruin pub games by instead of killing the ancient the enemy team has to kill one barracks and then your team just dies because they can't kill the overpowered creeps. Rat dota would become the norm, so unless your entire team can deal with overpowered creep waves or be able to prevent ratting, what's the point of playing the entire hero pool? You gotta remember you're suggesting changes for the WHOLE of dota not just competitive, all the way to bronze leagues, let's not ruin the game for people who aren't playing it for a job because you understand the game better than others.
It kinda used to be like this and was fun. If you failed and allowed megacreeps, then your team just sticks to the base and supports get shredded by creeps. If supercreeps, well, it's not over yet, but attention is needed or they sure will push down. It was at the ancient times when you had to carry tp scroll as a 6th slot and no backpack. Slowly but surely, however, heroes got stronger and creeps became a joke. What i want to say is these changes are not impossible or game-breaking although we'd see some changes in gameplay
I disagree with everything in me. I remember those days, the saying "happy defending" is a thing for a reason. Imagine saying that when you lose a single rax instead of all of them? You both are saying screw the lower leagues and it's not fair or right. Heroes should win the game, not creeps. @@IvanIvanov-ej2wy

if you make the barracks more powerful, you also have to make them a lot tougher to destroy, since otherwhise two things happen: 1) losing one barracks would destabilize the base too much to the point where losing one barracks = losing the game, and without the possibilty of a comeback this would make playing beyond that moment pointless 2) everyone would just back door
I agree that the creeps should be stronger, they are far too weak when compared to the average player strength. Though you could also buff them with tower kills and over time. And you'd need to increase the reward for killing them, so the other team can farm enough gold for a comeback if they can hold the lane.
How about giving pernament buff(aura?) to the team and their allied units when they destroy barracks? Like destroy range units barracks and everything gets free divine rapier or half. Destroy melee and get free mooncheese.(kind of)
Regarding the limitation of 1 buyback per game, I think it would be better if it is 1 buyback per 30min game, with 5min cd between usage. This way, they have a limited buyback, but also still a bit of leeway.
