Dedication

Most of these pro players, Dota is one of if not the only hobby they have so even if you win TI there isn't really anything for them to do but go back to some dotes.

i personally think that every hardcore gamer would do the same thing as well. i mean, gamers only want to play games all the time right ? they dont think about anything else except games

They certainly get tired of Dota at times but they have to keep practicing to stay relevant.

Was thinking of the exact same thing. Liquid won TI, roster change. EG won TI, roster change. OG didn't care about what anyone think and stomp through a 2nd TI win with the same roster. That's faith and trust right there.

@@c4un544n5 yeah, at the time after winning TI, Liquid kinda having a hard time after winning TI, it was when Kuro thought something need to be changed, meanwhile Notail was also not doing good in lan, members split up, taking Ana back, taking a new player Topson, and a coach joined the roster. And they won, plus after TI8 they don't do much in other tournament and cameback again with the same roster in TI9 and won. OG got everybody's respect.

@@vxxcxxy after listening to Sunsfan and Syndren podcast (we say things), I realise I was commenting without the full knowledge of what happen. After ti8 OG was playing with a different guy but it felt more of a 4+1 team as mentioned by notail. I realise its bias to say OG didn't try something new after Ti8, they did and it just didn't work out.

@@c4un544n5 yeah they tried so much after TI8 of course with different Roster they didn't do much, but still Notail believed in them, and Ana came back after taking a break, that's how much Notail deserves respect. He believed in the bond they have each other.

@@c4un544n5 There's a difference with Liquid and EG, though. At least Matumbaman had a chance to defend the title during TI8, which means that Kuroky had faith and trust there. Kuroky's reasoning for replacing Matu is at least understandable, as they were becoming predictable, with two years worth of data on that roster (and even more data on Position 1 Matu). Kuroky could have made the decision right after TI8 or at most after the first Major for it to be perceived better, though. EG just outright replaced AUI2000 without giving him a shot to defend the Aegis.

RTZ is trash. And I think Fly is not a good captain after all
