I think what he meant by gameplay is slower is the mechanic of the game like attack animation, casting animation, turn rate, etc. In LoL those mechanics are faster. Again doesn't necessarily mean a bad/good thing.

Him and zed are just 2 champions that once fed can destroy your team, common occurrence in blind pick. I can't control other people to stop feeding, and I don't want to play ranked, so I'm probably going to move on to another game. My reasoning might not be the best, but it has nothing to do with skill, you just shoehorned that point in so you have to opportunity to point and laugh.

LoL gets boring as the game drags on because the game starts getting repetitive. You may make a comeback by landing and dodging skills effectively but that's just drab. But in Dota you can turn the tables at any given moment and this is what makes it so interesting. You'll have so much to do late game that it never gets boring. I'll agree that the farming phase is boring but when you have the gold, there are so many tricks you can pull off and when you do it you know you made the enemy look like a fool. My personal experience, there was a match in which a CM outcarried a fed Void late game. It all happened because the CM farmed a butterfly and the Void didn't have MKB. You can watch Faker vs Ryu. Just in case - faster =/= better, but fact is that LoL is faster paced. Even Heroes of Newerth (basically a copy of DotA - which I also played after DotA) was faster paced than Dota 2.

It's because of the pro-play. Dota 2 gives more incentive to aggressive play than LOL. That alone makes dota 2 more enjoyable and competitive. While in LOL, you lose because of a small mistake.

Quite the opposite for me, i prefer the reaction time based gameplay, rather than the slower pace of dota. The slow pace of dota just made farming and combat feel like a chore. I feel more in control of my Hero with the twitchier pace of league because i feel more assured that what i want to do happens when i want it to because the animations and movement are almost instantaneous to when i press the button. But this doesnt mean that. League has no strategy or mind games. Although to a significantly lesser degree there are still things like wave control and kiting

@@IDGAG not true go watch Tyler1 when he played in diamond against a challenger he was in the 70 - 100 LP range and the queue put a 1000 LP challenger (highest rank) and some diamond 2s against him the challenger had like a dozen kills and played a perfect game and he was even an ADC but they still lost because his team was weaker than tylers you cant win a game by yourself, unless you're the best in the league (of legends)

If you put a buff man in a team with 4 mice against 4 other mice and tell them to fight, the buff mans team will obviously win, but if you put 5 buff men on one team and 5 buff men on another team... the outcome is a little bit different. That 1 buff man can no longer take out all the mice himself because the gap is no longer there

Dota players are just mad that their game isn't as popular as league. I mean, from their ancestor, Guinsoo and Icefrog, league was meant to be superior. Guinsoo basically created a new game out of dota all-star. With his immense creativity he made the biggest game in the world, the never dying league of legends. While Icefrog after probably preparing for some good years, came out and create dota2 which is an exact copy of dota all-star, just with difference in graphics. He lacks zero creativity. After getting sued by blizzard, they change their hero models, names etc a bit but they're still basically the same. Dota2 is honestly an embarrassment of a game.

Ya i have to agree. I only started playing Dota cuz southeast asia servers have been giving me unplayable ping but im having a better time here. The problem with league is that every match consists of the same heroes. It's always either a windshitter, dagger bitch, or smoke whore playing mid. ADC role is kinda irrelevant except in coordinated team games and top lane is on an island by himself not paying attention to any of the other lanes. Hopefully riot gets their shit together in season 12.

Heroes counter each other, items also like Black King Bar, Linken for disable and ghost scepter etc etc, so its all about the teamwork not just skills, but to be honest Dota players is 10 times above the League players when you comparing about the toxic and abuse thing not gonna lie to you, especially SEA server

I disagree, don't be an ass and you won't have problems in Dota in general. Get good and a lot of those problems will go right out the window. When I played League it didn't matter what skill bracket I played in, everyone was toxic and you could get reported and banned for just about anything. I dropped League after playing it for over 5 years and spending around 2 grand in the game on skins. Now I play Dota and after spending 200ish bucks (a tenth the cost of League) I have great skins on almost every hero and I don't have issues with talking to people and just having fun in general. I also have found a hell of a lot less intentional feeders and straight up noobs that I could not get away from in League of Legends. If I ever performed poorly in Dota (which is pretty rare but it can happen) people actually gave me advice and helped me rather than just bitching at one another for no reason. And then there is the GLORIOUS arcade which is where I spend all of my Dota in-game hours. That being said play whichever you find better because no one can decide that for you.

So yeah, violence do start before the creeps spawn or specifically 2 seconds or less if the Invoker is fast violence starts.

In the 2016 playoff season, only ~42% of League's entire pool was used whereas Dota 2 saw almost every single hero selected at some point (96% pick/ban at TI6). When the pros pick less than half of all playable characters in a game, you know there's a serious balancing issue. It's almost as if pro teams in League are scared to try anything outside of the most popular champions.

Now imagine Riot allowed custom games where you could play any champion, they'd lose half of the players in normal queues because having to pay or grind for characters is most definitely not a benefit. If you disagree with me, go start Dota and only play as the highlighted heroes, and when you find one you like, flush $10 down the toilet or wait until you've played 50 games then allow yourself to play that hero in addition to the highlighted ones they have every day, that way you get that sweet sense of accomplishment you claim makes LOL so great. Again, DOTA IS OBJECTIVELY BETTER BECAUSE HEROES ARE FREE As for pay to win, you can buy boosts for points which let you unlock runes and champions faster in LOL. So if2 players start playing the game the same day, after 100 hours the one who paid for boosts will have more runes and champions giving them an advantage, ergo, LEAGUE IS PAY TO WIN, get it? Finally the crowd funding thing is 100% optional. People don't even buy the compendium (the package containing skins, access to alternate game modes, quests etc where a percentage of the profits fund the prize pool) to support Valve or the pro scene, they buy it because the cosmetics are worth it to them. A lot of people never watch a single pro game after buying it, it is just a good deal to them . I am sorry if anyone wasted hundreds of hours and dollars on something that had a better alternative, but it's no reason to abandon rationality because of it, just pretend Dota doesn't exist and keep throwing money away for Cowboy/astronaut/disco outfits and Champions which are balanced to have as little impact on the game as possible so they can cram new ones into the game every 2 months

I love both, but I can't even play dota anymore. It's worse than league to me, as everygame I get I either have people who don't speak English (I have had about 4-5 games in the past two YEARS where this happened, so rare I can remember the number. Compared to dota 2's every single game where nobody speaks English on my team..) and just ruin the game because you can't communicate. Or you get more toxic people than in fucking league, it's surprising. I originally loved Dota 2, but because of that I just quit because it was so hard to do anything.

Yeah the toxicity is a major problem. My view is that the mmr/elo systems of both games are just silly. For instance, I've played on just one Dota 2 account ever since I started. It records my games from when I had literally no idea what I was doing to now, so of course I calibrated low. Since then, I've been climbing, but it's so, so slow. Going up 1000 mmr requires a net of 40 wins, and that takes an extremely long time, even with a respectable 60% winrate like I have in ranked. Every loss is an hour wasted. It'll be interesting to see how the new season calibration system works for this. That's part of what I mean about maturity. The gaming community as a whole is young. It's part of the reason I rarely play solo ranked anymore and mostly stick with friends.

great insight buddy. the meaning of the word noob nowadays is just so negative when it should only actually mean "newbie". But now, even kids a third my age use the word noob as a replacement for a myriad of expletives which turns it into a hateful insult. I too started moba on icefrog's first versions of dota on wc3. but back then, toxicity was at a bare minimum and most players have sportsman like attitude and outlook. now, you have trolls and flamers. i wish i could go back to those simple days when you just want to enjoy a game regardless of the outcome. cheers mate!

I want to ask you, who do you think is better mechanically Faker or Miracle? It seems you have a better view in this base on how long ur experience on both games.

@@tamadjuan9619 I sue to follow LOL pro scene back then but stopped around 5 years ago and still continue follow dota proscene. Mechanic wise Miracle by far because dota just have way too many mechanic.
