I am amazed at how the writers managed to create a character everyone could love without her saying a single word. This show deserves way more views, I hope it can get the recognition it deserves 💖
Neo in RWBY is popular, she is mute, (not everyone loves her, half the fandom loves her half of them hate her), Amaya from Dragon Prince is deaf, and probably one of the most loved characters (I love that she uses sign language)
Valve: Marci is finally playable in game. Fans: Cool. So we’ll be seeing more of her in the show right? Valve:… Fans: We’ll be seeing more of her in the show right?!
Kashurra is such a oddity. He is a supporter and cares a lot for Mirana, but he is also a fanatic madman at the same time. Such a good character and caring yet also such a good character at being a good villian that you just hate for what he did.
He is not a supporter and not caring at all. The word you're looking for are possessive and manipulative. If you followed the conversations right, he did all that just to have a "pocket" goddess, just protecting his collection.
@@gab_shirohige That doesn't really add up considering he's fully content with dying at the end. He just seems satisfied that he awoke Mirana's powers.
@@gab_shirohige He cares enough to dismantle those opposing her. He cares in a sick way, enough to allow himself to be turned into dust as she finally awakens her power. Maybe he himself truely think he cared and protected her? The last scene to me proves that he has some kind of care, obsession with protecting "The Sunbeam" and awaken it , even if he has to kill to awaken it. You can be both possessive, manipulative and caring of something. Parents can for example have all traits.
@@Marcusianery I have to put a no on what you just said. You cannot be both possessive/manipulative and caring. The very nature of being possessive and manipulative is to control. A caring person certainly doesn't kill someone's friend. A caring person doesn't try to manipulate your choices to make you be what they want you to be. Everything I described is an abuser. Someone who cares is motivated towards supporting and loving you. If he truly cared, he would not do anything that results in Mirana having her heart broken and giving her trauma.
Bro this show ain't my top favorite but Marci is my top favourite female character maybe number 1 she is so unique I can't explain just feel attached to her character
This freaking destroyed me, bro. Marci didn’t deserve that. I was so sure they would be okay… Not only did the hot redhead betray us, not only did we lose Cool Dragon Girlfriend, but _MARCI, TOO_ ?! How can the world be so unjust?! 😭
@@m0ckyzo185 - Luna kinda deserves it, though, in my opinion. So does Selemene. Femryn will become Mene and Miranna is the World Wyrm, so they’re safe…
Ugh😫 Life is so unfair...after she died I just remembered her from the few minutes before when she was drunk and won against all those guys in the bar and then snuggled with Sagan🥺😭 and that was the last time when all of them were together having fun (except lina of course)...even Auroth, the dragon, you know...the one whose mate is...well was Bram...the poetry dragon!....even she was with them that night and died too. I fell in love with her character and wanted for her and bram to have a happy ending🥺 AND THEN BAM...DEATH, DESTRUCTION AND TEARS...A LOT OF TEARS. WHY'D THEY HAVE TO DO THAT?!!!! I hope Marci and Auroth somehow return.....I JUST CAN'T YALL...THERE'S A HOLE IN MY HEART NOW...AND I JUST WANT THEM TO BE BACK😔
Because we dont see a name on that grave in the ending I WANT TO BELIVE that MARCI is still alive and will get back on her feet. Marci with no words stole our hearts immediately! LOVE MARCI
She fought to her last breath. She died, fists clenched. A warriors death. A noble death. My god did she give her all to protect what she loved. Honor her. We will remember her forever. May the Dark moon be with her.
Hey can you explain did he chocke her or break her neck or what did he do to kill Marci I don't understand like is he absorbing her life or what do you know more ?
@@adrenaline8100 Today i watched it again, and i vowed to get revenge...Picked Marci - in the 10th minute i was 5 0 2,game was going great i swore to protect her since i didn't want to relive the disappointment of seeing her die ever again-then out of nowhere comes a PA and obliterates me with 2 hits with a deso and BF in the 13th minute her stats being 12-0 and my DK was 0 11...ahhh you gotta love 2k mmr :(
So the writers said we're going to play up her being a badass fighter, then give her a korra in avatar form level fight, just so she can die? Shame on their cow.
@@EasternUmi The source of her powers was made quite clear: it's the "eye" of light or anything that Mirana is. It always has been (that scene, when she was young, she received the light from Mirana), and then in a pretty cliché way, they choose that the end of her life would be trigger for Mirana release that power.
This is so much painful. When he said "To love the light more than you love yourself" that describes everything about Merci. She was ready to do everything and sacrifice herself for Mirana and she literally did it. The tragic music and Mirana's flashback about Merci made me cry my fking heart out.
I was drinking before i saw this season came out, i watched it all in one night. I cried like a school girl. I knew in season 1 she was going to die eventually but then they added her to the game and i thought maybe they can't kill her now... fuck you Gaben
@@thepmangkonephongsa6321 Everything is canon, the thing is all matches played are parallel universes so the 10 heroes that are in the match are the only one's who survived for the final confrontation,so in this anime universe Marci,Lina and WW are dead so is Nova
@@Happy-mx9ds I know about Studio MIR since it's what got me to watch the show to begin with, I'm just confused why Gaben had anything to do with the show.. he's not even directly a producer of it.
Just finished season 2. Just realized Kashurra killed all three (Auroth, Lina and Marci). Wtffffff. Where’s bounty hunter? I got some deep pockets for him.
Episode meeting at studio mir: hey guys, let's kill of that mute girl that everyone in the fandom absolutely loves because she's adorable and is one of the more human characters in the show GREAT IDEA JIMMY!!
Mene gets her powers, she does divine magic power thingy. Revives Marci, WW and Lina so the gang can help Dragneel to fight Terrorblade? Lemme know at season 3 if I called it ✌🏽
I only saw this today and I’m reminded of a quote by a villainess: “What good is power if you cannot protect the ones you love?” - Cersei Lannister. What good is godly power without being able to protect others? 🥺 R.I.P. Marci (May she be revived.)
Instead of more episodes...slow down story so thing have more breathing room..this season's should've been dragonhold stuff, fixing davion, then ending when we get to the imperium place or whatever it's called..have more breathing room release 2 parts per year to cover one full season
Strange how I’ve never played DOTA let alone researched anything about before watching it out of curiosity because of Arcane and yet I felt sad seeing Marci die like that.
Lina and Auroth twop best girl they die is so sad and most saddest I'm saw is Marci Death the Best of Best My Girl I'm love her Character and her Silence is my type then they killed her just like that how can you do that my girl damn you writer bring back her alive #Marci
There are a few things people seems to have missed: 1. At 1:30 she seems to say something, implying that she can talk, or could talk at some point. 2. There are voice lines in-game that tease that Marci and Wei(woman anti-mage), were good friends, in anime Wei never appears or is mentioned which means it happens after this. 3. DOTA happened after the anime by lore, so Marci/Lina/Wyvern being dead is a bit strange considering they're alive in game, and we know that the Dota universe has resurrections anyway.
You also missed when Terrorblade and Invoker we're talking they mentioned that there are multiple realities. So it's safe to say that in this universe(anime series) Marci, Lina, and Auroth dies.
@@EasternUmi maybe in the last season either terrorblade or invoker successfully use dragon power that can alter reality where they came alive. Especially invoker who want to bring back his kid from dead. who knows
1:30 Marci appears to be talking. Maybe Mirana is seeing the future? Maybe Marci will come back with ability to talk? I mean in the game of dota 2 heroes die and revive. So why not characters in this show?
@@EasternUmi yeah, like I was suppose to care for luna and really for her connection to davion and what she did but we barely knew her, I liked her character with what lil screen time we had, but the payoffs didn't really feel as strong to me.
In my opinion, she should be returned because in the game, in Mirana's lines, when she meets Marcy, she kind of mentioned to Wei that they are best friends, that they have a good time, train together, etc. Either way, she should be resurrected.
@@jovandjordjevic2388 I agree with you bro, but maybe everything will be different. I'm just saying my opinion, so maybe I'll say it wrong somewhere😂 But still, everything is possible, anything can happen, and we are unlikely to find out in the future. So hope for the best🤪
@@kubamaybe4312 I read somewhere that they made the entire 24 episodes already so a season 3 should be comming either way. I would sure like to see more Marcy as she was one of the coolest characters imo... but there are so many others that need some screentime its gonna be hard.
@@jovandjordjevic2388 I absolutely agree with you, this makes the anime more interesting, because in the Dota lore there are 121 more characters who also need a little attention, albeit not all, but still. I know this anime only talks about the past of Davion and other characters, but the plot takes place in the past, it would be cool to show the audience the characters we already know and their past. Cause In the future, this may play a big role in Dota lore, since many heroes have very little information about the past. I'm just very interested in lor dota)
In this specific case they wrote it better than even Arcane. Dota is draws no line between champions and other characters, everyone is equal in the eye of the story.
There's 2 things I love about dota that arcane didn't, the first one being there not afraid to kill characters we care for, and the actions that actually have consiquenses
Arcane also makes massive consequences for actions, but I hope they too will cross this line in the future. The champions have to be handled as just another character, there may be no difference.
@@Mediados wait sorry wrong wording what I meant to say was the champions yeah they killed champions that were in game, also anything that reminds of league makes me want to hate everything around it
@@Mediados well it's your choice but even when me and my friends play it the enemies were pretty toxic but I had good times playing Kayn I just really wish we could see other regions in Arcane
@@coleymaelan4610 They are to come don't worry, Piltover is just the beginning. Riot has recently begun a massive narrative expansion, with several games, stories and maybe even books solidifying the lore of Runeterra. From the looks of it, my personal favorite will be very relevant soon: Noxus.
I´ve watched everything again with Book 1 two times, to make sure that they will be reborn. But the writers of this show were one step forward with talking around the multiverse. But they were also saying that when you die, you´re dead forever, they´re good... they´ve made me uncertain. Please bring back Auroth and Marci.
If I had a nickel for every time a character called marcy died in an animated series, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
I was REALLY expecting for her to resurrect by some deux ex machina or power up but when i saw her grave i genuinely wanted to cry, she deserved a better ending SHE SUFFERED A LOT TO JUST NOT DESERVE ONE 😭
She got revived! When invokee creates a new world, she and lina are alive in it but she ends up dying when mirana uses her power to erase that world and bring back the old world Basically mirana had to kill davion along with everyone on that world indirectly, she directly absorbs davion of whatever which kills davion and everybody else basically dies later on because of the state that world was in
Guy's I feel horrible for what happened to Marci but can we take the time to appreciate how she was fighting, that shit made me think of mha deku it had me going crazy. MARCI YOU WILL BE MISSED
Next season watch as Mirana and Davion delve into the Narrow maze and face off with Razor and Visage to take the souls of Lina and marci back.....inhales HOPIUM
@@avinabmukhia1297i dont care how they will bring her back JUST BRING HER BACK SHE IS SO PURE SO KIND SHE DOESNT DESEVRE DIE .. THIS ENDING DESTREOEYD ME
There's too much dying. The concept of killing loveable character and kill them is overdone 😭 They better bring Marci back by some God powers revelation that Marci had
There is too mich dying? Really? I mean in things like Invincible I agree, but here it's not just dying for the shock factor, but because it makes sense. Kashurra cares only about his sunbeam and gets everyone else out of the way. Leaving Marci alive would only give her plot armor. He is an insanely powerful being after all.
Damn kashura was really getting his ass kicked for a moment there by Marci. But still i must admit this was one of the best fighting scenes I've seen on the series so far.
I don't understand this season. First, the first two episode were basically just a recap to the previous season and the overall pacing seems too rushed especially the last 3 episodes. Second, they introduce two new support heroes which only had two episodes worth of lifetime. Third, typical as a anime tropes goes, Mirana's ulti skill had to be unlocked by the death of her closest friend (which is absurd really imo). Lastly, if they really did kill Marci and mot ressurect her in later episode, who would be Mirana's side character? Davion? Bram?
The underlying spiritual side of Dota Dragon Blood is amazing. Slyrak tells it multiple times. The flesh is merely a limitation. In truth, the Void dragon Kasshura wanted to bask in the light of God, the Worldworm, to be part of his Oneness once more. His body died, but the dude was literally enlightened on spot, he experienced Nirvana.
While Arcane is the best show I have ever seen, but this is one thing that Dota does better. They don't draw a line between champions and other characters.
It's like Yoda facing off with Palpatine. Yoda being Marci. Palpatine being Kashurra. Yoda knows he'll die but gives it his everything to give the rest of the job to his apprentice to finish it. Marci gets a few good hits in. The rest is up to the main characters.
Literally my favorite character in the game, just finished the second season today, didn't think they'd just kill off three characters that were in game like that. Maybe they'll have some plot device that'll reset their deaths or something, though that's just hopeful thinking. This scene teachers us a nice lesson though.. always get that BKB on Marci.
You know what's worse than a season finale villain reveal that comes out of nowhere? When said villain kills a character that that I like. Rot in hell, Kashura.
