I had a moment where the raider felt weak. Granted I'm still new to the game so my Raider was still early levels but I barely got Cell to imperfect Cell and downed one player and it felt like half a minute since the game started, the other six survivors had already found and placed all the power keys. Even then, they kept swarming me so I couldn't win even if I was able to take down one more survivor.

I mean, evolution level doesn’t really matter, you can still kick a level 4’s ass at level 2 while being jumped by the whole team if you’re good enough.

I'm hating those that picks Broly due to the majority of gameplays being 10secs alive and then wasting time watching others but this one player was different. He downed me once and after I was revived, anytime he saw me he didn't try to kill me. I guess he was either trolling me in a fun way or he knew I was new and still learning so he was giving me some pity.

The Transpheres are OP when paired with the Unconcious Control ability Broly's Ki blasts are horrible until the 4th stage.

His Stage 2 are pretty good, but they deal like zero damage, Stage 3 are fucking garbage as they never hit, as you said Stage 4 are just good all around.

That is why I only deal damage but never finish anyone off and just camp bodies so I stay at lvl 2. lvl 2 has a lot of tools to his advantage and his ki blasts are good and you only to deal with 1 super transphere if you stay level 2. This strat is best paired by resetting your skill points so that you do not level up those passives to evolve faster. Lvl 2 is a pretty good stage and as someone who can win as level 2 Buu. Level 2 Broly is a godsend.

@@Scruffy901 Ok I hate players like you though, nothing worse then waiting 5 minutes for a match and getting downed with the first 2 minutes and having to sit there for 50 seconds watching the Raider camp me. Plus that's a horrible strategy, Stage 2 Broly has ZERO crowd control, so your giving the Survivors a chance to build up DC and jump you together.

He just explained how lvl 2 broly has better ki blast and he wins more games from not having his time wasted by super transpheres. Its a intelligent strategy, if you don't want to get downes and camped just play better.

@@spider-soniczilla2989 0 crowd control??? he can use his super attack then run away. Then go back and finish those jumping survivors off which makes more bodies. He has crowd control and he is a really good lvl 2 for what he is. I am not saying this strat is good or fun but against premades you gotta do what you gotta do

For me this proves that the Ginyu Force is the only OP raider. And even then it can fail against a good coordinated premade. I think a big problem with the game is how the devs are making the gap between solos and premades wider and wider. Some good stamps that could help could be a power key stamp, an ETM stamp, a STM, a reviving ally stamp, a drop dragonball stamp, a civilian stamp and super transphere stamp. On top of that more messages from the ping system.

But in all sincerity: I really hope Doto doesn't let this experience gate him from trying to play the game more - what he just went through is an experience he can inflict upon raiders himself, albeit hopefully not through the usage of a premade team. Much like other DBZ games, the combat isn't just some straightforward meathead friendly process. It has a surprising amount of deliberate thoughts that need to be quickly sorted through in order to chase down the best outcome (example: do you prioritize the STS/Shenron first to remove the siege engine, or the regular DCs first to get rid of the setups and chip damage dealers?) for any given situation Dragon Ball inherently has never only just been about one person alone - it's always about the group and how they work together in order to succeed, reflected brilliantly in Breakers and how a well oiled team of determined survivors can face against history's greatest foes

The only thing I hate about breakers is when I'm playing Broly I get matched with level 200 sweats where it's just me getting jumper and struggling. Then when I'm survivor I get all the noobs on my team qnd they just hide the entire time I'm a console player btw

Man what you said at around 8:45 about Doto is so true. I love watching him deal with stressful situations regardless of the game and laugh at it or take it really well. I actually prefer it to rage content or over critical stuff

I think the main thing is it's very easy to say "raider's are not OP" when you're loading up in 7 man premades and stomping on New or bad Raiders. I have to imagine though the average guy saying "raider's are OP" are playing with maybe 1 friend or solo queueing. And in those circumstances Raider's can feel VERY Oppressive. Much in the same way going against a premade does. And it's very hard to win a game by yourself as a survivor unless you get the lvl 4. (which is a good thing but it can lead to players feeling very helpless) But chances are if you're out here saying "raiders are op" you're probably not an amazing fighter. Yeah a great player can grab Gogeta and Solo Broly but without that all it really takes is 1 Dumbass teammate to completely erase any chance of winning. It doesn't help that much of the tools survivors have to really tip the scales of balance are locked behind the bullshit Gacha system. My enjoyment of this game absolutely skyrocketed when I pulled UC. As a new player It felt like I could actually survive more than 2 seconds in a fight now. And things like IT are monumental in making an oppressive noob-stomper like Broly actually be the middle of the pack raider he is.

You buff raiders, solo queue survs will feel that impact. Nerf survivors, more than half the playerbase who mained survs will go on a riot. Nerfing raiders? you just made the role that's needed to play the game become something people actively avoid to have fun, making matchmaking even longer than what it already is. Them adding knockback gauge to raiders is a step in the right direction though, Broly's mechanics is also great for players who wanted more action and less spending time running around finding keys. But true balance is hard when you have to consider people who solo queue vs premades. It's hard to be a asymmetrical game dev, ask BHVR if you don't believe me. Oh wait, nvm, this game is more balanced than the mess that is Dead By Daylight lmaoooooooooooo.

It's definitely always brutal in the beginning, my Broly is lvl 70 now and I win majority of my games though. Both low lvl survivors and raiders always struggle in the beginning. The problem is survivors don't have to level up again like new raiders do.

If a level 1 beginner raider can defeat a bunch of lv 100+ survivors, it doesn't mean the raider op, it means the raider is broken. Just like if lv 1 survivors can beat a lv 100 raider. Since raiders' skills need to be level up through levels, this doesn't really proves how good Broly is. No one not even raiders that are new to the game and don't know how to play well shouldn't be defeating someone who knows the game very well and played since beta.

that's why you see a lot of discussion of raiders being really strong when they first release. But as time goes on, you'll notice that strategies are found to defeat each raider. Broly, however, is a raider where I think even casuals have had success defeating more than any other raider.

Levels means nothing for raiders because you could be facing a lvl 1 cell who is actually a lvl 200 survivors with all the other raiders at lvl 100 Besides I think lvls in the raider side don't really give that much of an advantage anyway

My only argument against the “raiders are OP” thing is when you play with random survivors and they have little to no idea what they’re doing or worse…you play with survivors who are feeders, which makes it almost impossible to win as a survivor

I think the game is alot more balanced now, but as the seasons have progressed, of course they’ve added more utility and skills for survivors but Raiders have gotten many buffs (recent health buff for vegeta, team ginyu gets 4 full health bars, knockback bar was added season 3, etc) OG season 1 players like us remember when Bulma bike was fast as a mf, zip line gun could get you literally on the other side of the map, and don’t get caught in a cave as a Raider before the raider knockback bar

In my experience the only time the raider loses is when they arent good or against mic players. Most of the matches Ive played as a survivors are wins via ETM with at most 3 survivors making it out. Ive had a few where about 6 or 7 make it out woth the ETM but in no way were we actually beating the raider in a fight we just were good enough to run away like roaches around the map. Honestly I feel people that say being a raider is hard are just not good at being a raider, winning by STM or taking out the raider is hard

Idk I do think the survivors are good but Doto definitely was bad he didn't know the spawns or specific areas where you plant the keys or civi spawns so I think thats a big reason why he kept losing too

@@ironcane I'm not saying raiders are truly OP; I'm just saying that a large part of the reason he was getting defeated so easily is he doesn't have experience he only gets on this game maybe once every 4 months if that. Is it that big a surprise he lost so bad. Most of these survivors probably are like 200+, so I hope he doesn't get the wrong idea that raiders are just bad; they can definitely win against a premade but a new raider doesn't really have a chance 😅

All this proves to me is that survivor will always feel bad in solo que. 7 people with random builds that you can't even inspect to change yours. 7 people that are on completely different pages. 1 minor thing they could do to make it easier for survivors to group up is just make instant transmission built into every surviver kit. That would make solo lobbys doable since theres not any communication really going on and you could react quicker to anything unplanned. But that would break pre-mades even more.

@@ironcane True, but they were deffs the best breakers crew in Doto's community, and they might have even been mic'd up, I would like to see doto spend maybe 1 hour practicing with broly and then just going online for some Randoms while not streaming, to prevent snipes, and see how the dude does. I just don't think Doto's video does anything for or against the argument around the balance of the game.

@oniwolfin9589 but think about that, practice. People have kicked and screamed that Raiders are so OP, and so broken. If that were truly the case, Doto would've been able to make the game close at the very least. The point I'm making here is that this game involves skill on both sides, and the game is more balanced then people let on.

@@ironcane I agree that its more balanced then people let on, for sure. my issue is that it feels insanely p2w on the part of survivors, I haven't put a cent into this game because I really don't feel its justified when I spent $30 on the game itself. I have yet to pull IT and every match I play without it, it feels like I'm throwing. I'm just arguing that we need to see doto (maybe even seereax) play through more then they have to really understand what this game feels like when it comes to a new player experience in season 4. I skipped season 2 and 3 and returning as a survivor in season 4 has felt extremely hard. even in premade lobby's with Bronx I'm almost always the first to go down. Also doto didn't even snap vanish ONCE in the broly vid, feels like he could do with a 5 min refresher and that would raise his odds of winning by like 20% minimum.

@oniwolfin9589 I can feel you on not having Instant Transmission it does open the game up a lot but I really do disagree the game is p2w. Oolongs rocket, floating device, grapple, and charming Pose are all great actives and are completely available free to play. Gacha skills definitely help, but there are some solid options if you've been getting shafted.

Dear Ironcane. I Write you today to let you know;I long for the days when the crossplay is implemented so we can share a match, i beleive myself to be a very proficient fighter, and to show you that i would be honored. Also i am glad to inform: I managed to defeat a high level premade using Broly, None survived, and they tried to Jump me on the super time machine beleiving themselves superior. I destroyed the super time machine, Killed their Gogeta and destroyed the escape time machine, felt good. Untill our paths cross(play). Edward Solaris

Leaving aside the whole raiders op or not or someone's first matches in months when he has barely played anyways vs these sweats, gotta show respect for the mad lad that Doto is, he took it like a champ and was funny all throughout it. Also congratulations to the sweats, any chance we could maybe get some interest built up in the game, just down the drainer cuz they were assholes about it. And I'm not saying they should have lost, it's not even about the disrespect but rather they didn't even let him try the raider in its entirety for one single match nor they told him how to dodge assuming Doto wasn't just showing how he was getting rekt but I'd imagine if they let him get lvl 4, or even win once, he would have shown it.

Just like I see some of those games where you rage and I get annoyed not for you but the teammates, cuz I also get teammates like that, seeing Doto get done dirty like this was also annoying, I guess him having a good time and not caring too much about it kinda softened it up a bit but still. I guess I'm mostly pissed at the opportunity that this could have been for breakers to get some good advertisement but just didn't happen and honestly, Doto didn't deserve those guys being as disrespectful as they were @@ironcane

yea, I love doto. but cane you cant used him as any type of source of official opinion on the games balance, considering he is 1. new and 2. only played against a 7 man premade because he was a bit too lazy to go through queue times to get a real match.

People say Raiders are brainless and are OP. If they truly were he wouldn't have struggled as much as he did that's all. The fact that he struggled so much and the survivors were so dominant is proof that there is more skill to this game that people let on. If Doto wiped this group or made it a close game with arguably one of the weaker raiders in the game then that would be true.

Hey Ironcane, I was Dantheman in these games. Ngl these were some of the funniest breakers games I’ve had in a minute . Even if Doto got cooked as a raider 😢😢.

You can't really use the raider isn't op argument when Dota doesn't really play the game. I get that your point is if raiders were OP you wouldn't need to be good in the first place, but using a new player as an example doesn't make much sense. He doesn't even know how to dodge yet😭

I mean you basically know what my point is. Again skill is required in this game and it shows. That's all I was trying to say here, you can't just click a couple of buttons and magically win like people act like when it comes to raider. This extreme example can be shown on both sides. What does this mean? This means that the game is relatively balanced, and skill and player knowledge play a huge factor. It's frustrating when people say this example doesn't count but this one does because I feel like when things are raider sided THOSE examples always seem to count and matter, but when the roles are reversed that's a bad example. This isn't even a you thing, but I find that very odd. An experienced raider beats newbies and Raiders OP. An experienced group of Survivors beats a new raider and that's not a good example. Just something I've noticed.

@@ironcane 1st, love yur vids And, I agree *some* raiders need a buff Only Raiders I hate nd almost broke my control over are: Frieza (hate he has Zarbon and Didoria at 2nd, 3rd and Final Form since in the anime they died, canon, it's honestly the RANGE of his 3rd form, the speed of his Ki Blast while able to camp bodies with Zarbon & Didoria), Semi-Perfect Cell with his Bs volley destroys everyone in Dragon Change (least in the tye last 90 matches) and it lasts 2 seconds TOO long, and Great Ape Vegeta: Yajarobi's sword honestly feels like a sweaty Flex than a proper 'counter' since it does tiny damage to an enemy that can snipe and fly when in canon No Great Ape has been seen flying and CAN take damage beyond just the tail Broly's Super Saiyan feels ok, FP feels weak, I wish Fat Buu was better (wish Innocent Cannon Tracks better, or shoots faster) and Super Buu's III Rain's damage makes no sense to be since I see it do *some* damage at times, other times trying to dodge it and getting hit in mid dodge amounts to HIGH damage

@@ironcane I encountered so many raiders that would abuse the holy hell out of Ki Blasts even on a downed body and keep spamming Ki Blasts I wouldn't be as traumatized if it came from any other Raider than Frieza, almost ruined the game, till Nappa/Vegeta came out
