Even as an advanced bracelet maker, I appreciate the tutorials you post. They help many beginners, and frankly, are just fun to watch even if I know how to knot it!
To anyone who likes slimmer bracelets like I do, you can make this same pattern with less colors. I just did a trial and error and I figured out you can use 3 colors instead of 4, you just have to subtract one thread less of your outline color. So, using the colors in the video for example, white would be four 1 meter lengths or two 2 meter lengths. Hope that makes sense lol
Thank you, Masha! You’re calm voice and simple instructions really helped me figure out what I was doing wrong with my knots. (And your nails always look so cute!)
Wow! Awesome Design. I Am From Kathmandu, Nepal. I Love Your Style. After Watching Your Video I Knot Same Design And I Got Success Because Your Teaching Style Is So Awesome.
Very cute! Based on your last video, I kind of anticipated that you would make this because this seems like a "Masha-style" type of bracelet! I love it so much, keep making your amazing content and know that you will always have our support! 😁
Masha! There’s an issue with the lengths of string you mention. If you use 4 colors, the white (being 3 strings) needs to be longer than the colors. I ran out of white string far before colors. Just a heads up. Thank you so much for your videos. This pattern is gorgeous!
So, I had to watch this video several times to get the length right, and to say I’m confused about the white cord being the same length as the colored cords?? If the white cord is the same length as the other cords and you use the white cord to make a loop like you did wouldn’t the white cord end up being way shorter towards the end of the bracelet???
i made it, and if i didn't make one strand longer than the others for the teardrop loop, i would run out of 1 white strand. not to mention i sort of ran out of white strands regardless, and couldn't make the twisted ties with the white strands on the outside, since the white parts were much shorter than the coloured ones. when i was done, there was about 27cm leftover of coloured strings. also i wish the tutorial was more cohesive. constantly going back to the beginning, listening to parts i didn't need to, could be avoided by filming a few more rows. all in all the bracelet is really nice, but it was a hassle to make it. (which is a shame, because i did like her other tutorials that i tried out.)
thank you so much for creating such a great tutorial!! this was super easy to follow :) I was wondering though if you make the string you use for the loop longer and by how much? if anyone has any helpful insight please let me know :)))
when you make a teardrop loop do you have to continute following the pattern in a V shape? i always thought you have to just go row be row left to right. i got really confused last time i made a bracelet.
this technique is called segment knotting. it’s not needed, and it doesn’t relate to teardrop loops, but it makes knotting faster when you get used to it))
@@tingal ohh okay i see! and i now see her whole video on it! i am still a bit confused though bc for now i do prefer the row by row but how do you get straighened out after a teardrop?
If this happens to me, I just pull the string over which I’m tying the knot. This will bring the two parts of the backward or forward knot together. Then I just pull the string I’m tying with tight so it doesn’t do that again. Idk if this answers your question.
I succeeded at making this several times and they look nice, but I am losing my mind over how every single time I end up with the first two colors flush instead of with white in between. I have no clue why this happens and watching your video it looks like it should be happening to you too because your second row starts with teal right after the pink yet you end up with white.
I'm confused. Which sets do you repeat again? The two backward knots then regular chevron? Or start from the very beginning minus the connection of red strings.
One minute you say “3 repeating rows” then you say “2 repeating rows” so confusing! It would be nice if you went down a little further so we can get a grasp!
I just started this tonight and it’s turning out wider than it looks in this video which I didn’t want but it still looks good. I was going to stop and start a new one with only with less colors tomorrow and see if it works.
Okay very bad tutorial. You said 6 white strings of 1 meter each, then 2 of each color. You do not have 6 strings of each so should be twelve once bent in half. I do not see two of each so thus 4 of each. Should be like 20-30 strings here once bent. Not very happy I was following along cutting all this ridiculous amount of strong up and now I see she doesn't have even half of what she said. 😡
the 6x 1m white and 2x 1m for each color are measurements for when you don't do the loop/bend in half and start with a knot at the beginning instead. there's also measurements in the brackets (3x 2m white, 1x 2m for each color) and those are for when you do the loop and thus bend in half, and are what is used in the video
Hi I absolutely love your videos they are so inspiring!! I do have a question though... could you make a tutorial on theses kinds of bracelets? #70642 #88996 #123082 I have been trying to find tutorials on these types of bracelets and how to read and understand them but I cant find them any where!!! Thank you and Well Wishes!!!!!!!
