Chuuya is an absolute GOAT. His rivalry/friendship dynamic with Dazai literally never fails to make me laugh. And again, Dazai is an absolute menace, having a bomb just in his "injured" arm for who knows how long until he decided to use it.

There's actually a hint that reveals early that neither Ranpo nor Lovecraft are actually gifted: their "gifts" are named after references to things that exist in the author's literature, but do not reference actual titles.

Fun fact about Chuya's corruption, it actually feels (or is actually, can't really remember) like his organs are being crushed so he is in a *lot* of pain after and during it.
