I feel for you Toogy and can sincerely empathize. I hope you mend quickly after surgery and that gets you physically 100% and back on the bike. Take care and stay positive! Thanks for keeping some content going too!
Thank sucks to hear about your collar bone - not the news we wanted. Best of luck and thanks for putting together this video with old footage. Makes me want to go to Bromont one day!
Hey man! Bromont is sick! I never really checked out much other than the bike park lol, need to do some proper quebec riding, maybe this year, who knows, fingers crossed!
Bromont is much bigger than Blue Mountain, and there's plenty of people who LOVE the place and drive consistently from Ontario. (But i have never been, so I can't say for sure)
yeah it's way better, it's bigger, way more trails, 3 lifts running! I think they even mentioned they would be running a 4th lift this year on weekends!
I make the drive 13 hours total literally every weekend to ride Bromont during the riding season, Bromont is 100000% better than Blue. :D It’s basically the smaller Whistler of eastern Canada. Mostly tech trails but man Bromont is legit. Not to mention there’s 8 lift access bike parks in Québec, and 4 of the other 8 lift access bike parks in QC, are within 2 1/2 hours from Bromont! So there’s no shortage of other awesome bike parks to ride in the area too! :D Yeah Toogy’s right, they’ll be running 4 lifts on weekends for bike this season starting mid/late June. And 3 weekend chairlifts until then to the best of my knowledge. (And Whistler only has 5 active lifts for bikes, Bromont’s only 1 lift behind now ;)
Its funny how going downhill on a bike is fun, but going downhill as we age is not fun. Or maybe it's not all that funny... anyway, hope you get healing better soon! Best of luck with the surgery if they deem it necessary.
The "double black" trails in Onterrible are the joke. I actually find it all very sad really. Like in a Donald Trump sorta way. A fucking hilarious joke, but also a horribly sad, defective tragedy. 🙂🙃🙁 Props for your willingness to try things you want but are scared of. Hope the injury healed 100%.
