Conus Medullaris and Cauda Equina are the two commonest entity related to orthopaedic emergencies. Sometimes the subacute presentation, atypical presentation and the population involves(eg pregnancy) may skew our diagnosis at ED level whether it shall be treated as such way or not. One of the important point shared in this lecture is regarding the usage of bladder volume scan, which is useful and quite sensitive in detecting urinary dysfunction even at earlier stage.
