Thank you for watching my video. I do hope you found it helpful. PLEASE NOTE: There is a typo at 9:14 - COMMUTED should be COMMITTED (which is what you hear me say). There was also an error with question number two which I removed so you will notice that number 2 is missing from the questions at the end.

1) Nowadays, In the general sense, It means to do or be done; Then the present indefinite tense is used. 2) Present continuous tense is commonly used to indicate that something is happening or going on at the present time. 3) Present perfect- The present perfect is a grammatical combination of the present tense and perfect aspect that is used to express a past event that has present consequences. The term is used particularly in the context of English grammar to refer to forms like 'I have left'. 4) Any work started in the past and is still going on, May continue in the future. Then the present perfect continuous tense is used. Madam, I have written all of those, Are these correct?

🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I missed that typo how annoying. Yes you are absolutely right. It should be ‘committed’ as is written in my script but my editor has made a typo when writing it on the screen. I apologise. :(

Nice video on pronunciation. Learners of English should be aware that these double contractions are correct when speaking. However, it is not correct to write sentences this way. Cambridge English (IELTS) will mark this as an error if you write something like mustn't've. It should be written as mustn't have.

This is a super lesson here! In speech, that is how we would normally say these things. However, It is more common to write them like this:: I couldn't have done that, We shouldn't have moved there, She wouldn't have said that, It mustn't have been there. The modal verbs: will....The past tense is 'would' can....The past tense is 'could.' could might must should would may...The past tense is 'might.' shall...The past tense is 'should' ' Must' is used in present and past tenses. 'Will' is used in future tenses and can be replaced with a form of 'be' + 'going to' I will go to town.. I will have finished by noon. I am going to town. I am going to have finished by noon. We are going to town. She is going to town. 'May' can not be contacted; May have, May not have 'Will' becomes 'won't' when negated in contracted form (won't = will not) 'Shall' becomes 'shan't; when it negates in contracted form (shall not = shan't)
