I am getting ready to make this. So happy I found your video. My 33 year old son was given a blanket like this when he was born adn now he is expecting his first child and I know how to crochet now.

She goes into both loops. She also has a writen pattern, it help me a lot.

Can I make more of a space between the high n low valley by doubling or tripling the amount of stitches between them, I don’t want them this close. TIA

I am at the 8th ST(see ST marker) and had 6 DC before. If I proceed with DC, CH2, DC in next CH that is another peak. What am I doing wrong?

Is there a functional reason why you stitch the last two chains together in the first row instead of just chaining one less in the beginning? I'm still pretty new to crocheting and I'm trying to gain as much info as I can.

When you stop the video at the top of the page are 4 symbols the last one looks like a gear…. If you click on it you can chance how fast the video runs. It can be made to go real slow…. It’s real helpful in seeing what’s going on. Give it a try. Hope that helps!
