What can happen to a town built on a sandy shore of a double dam in the event of a flood and a dam break? Total disaster! Check out our new Dam Breach and Flood Experiment with amazing mini models and real water!
Here's a suggestion, try making one with sticks embedded in the sand like iron rebar in concrete to see how much that effects structural integrity in these experiments
@@user-lp6co2fd3l idk how they would do that, but imagining something more viscous would be dope. I'd imagine cleaning it up would be a nightmare though
@@KingOfDams im curious, what are the model houses that you use? I am trying to find something like that for my nephew and I have not been able to . Thank you! Love all of your videos!
So interesting how the sand behaves in this shot at 8:30, the water carries the sand from the top and pours it down, buring stuff in wet sand. Very cool to see!
i have a suggestion, larger area, (to make it more realistic), some cameras inside houses, some random pockets of waters (rivers) and more densely populated towns
You should do a dam in the center of the tank and add a pipe going to a sort of lake on the other side, I’d wonder how much that’d help the integrity of it
0:38 Dude just floatin' along like it's just another day! 😂 Not gonna lie, the real life version of this terrifies me. But I'm hooked on watching these, they are very interesting.
The ones with bricks laid on the front and back are interested as they seem more durable due to resisting the sand falling. And preserving structual integrity
Suggestion for future videos: take a dry erase marker or something and trace the edges of the sand on the outside of the glass to show changes in height and size before and after the water starts
You could try making a sewer system with the bricks, that Goes up into the houses, that'd be pretty interesting, to see the sewer collapse, or maybe water flooding in and getting through to the Sand, causing everything to fall down.
Is it possible to create a small floodgate using the bricks? Interested if it would weaken or aid the structure. Could maybe apply it to this double dam and use the gap in between as a reservoir.
Try making a thinner but higher dam reinforced by sticks or smth so it wont just fall bc of the height. Don't put anything on top of it, instead build a town on the other side so it will look like a real tall dam. Would be cool if it just doesnt slide off with the water but actually breach and after that collapse. Also try making a small hole in such a dam after you filled it with the water fully and see what will happen if there is an actual leak in the dam.
Day 10: I found this village? Maybe it's a town? I don't know, but as I write this I hear screaming, that flood followed me again. I am scared and worried for my safety. I feel so narsacistic thinking about it, thinking I'm a main character but I am going to quickly pack my items and run. I am across the bridge I can feel it Collapsing and feel I am going to fall, I FELL I CAN FEEL MY LIFE FADING AWAY, ...but a person grabbed my hand and pulled me up, now it really felt like I was in some kind of show I thanked them and quickly moved on, but they ended up following me It felt awkward as they were a child but I guess I have a companion now. I will write another time. -3/6/1989
I'm going to make a comment to @JBlsDoingStuff, King of Dams doesn't deserve an award, He deserves to have his videos shown at the Regal Cinema Theater in Florence South Carolina. Totally Awesome Video! Keep up the great work. Oh, one more thing, zombies can't survive under water!
At first glance the videos on this channel seem nonsensical but a deeper look shows these are far more informative and provide tons of data. What about rice, a product that might expand when wet or aquarium stones that may interlock or someone suggested sticks. A combination of materials might be interesting as well. As long as NO lego ppl were harmed in the making of these videos, I appreciate the entertainment and educational value
In local news, safety concerns continue to grow as a new subdivision becomes another new lake. We have reached out to the construction company, but have yet to receive a comment. On a lighter note, SCUBA certifications are at an all-time high.
Can you make one when they talk or have speech bubbles and a little bit of stop motion so ppl can run? Plssss :edit: yippyyyyyyyyyyyyy ima sub I like your vids
If you are born in 2013 2012 or late 2011 and you didn't watch this in 2016-early 2018 then you had a sad childhood (unless you grew up in an area with no internet or watched before the hype of these kinds of videos)
