This is how you remix classic music the right way! Props to Edd for the great job he did modernizing this whole package while keeping the classic feel intact. If only they’d let him loose doing the same to the 1972 and 1974 Price music packages...
I like how they kept the subtle tick-tocking sound in the physical challenge / tossup / obstacle course music(s) - which, IMO, really did help to add a subtle, subliminal sense of pressure.
I wish someone could find the soundtrack for Double Dare 2000, it’s criminally underrated imo, I don’t see why people hate it. The OST remix is a modern take, but I like it lol
I liked the special they did where they brought two players back from the original show with their own kids. If they bring back this show with the Family Double Dare/ Double Dare 2000 format I think they should do a special where two siblings from the same team on that show come back and play against each other with their own family.
Wow! I knew, just knew, the legendary Edd Kalehoff would stay true to the 1986-93 version of DD and modernize it so beautifully! God bless you so much, Eddy! How I hated that crappy DD2000 version. Yecch!
Holy crap, skipped around and quickly picked up on the fact that Edd Kalehoff EVEN added remixes/makes of the FOX FAMILY DOUBLE DARE TOSSUP CUES to this package of music cues / for this incarnation of Double Dare! (shame they never did get to be used) EDIT: time stamps: 9:09 , 11:45, 12:50 , 13:54 I think I just nerdgasm'd 😍
@@Hung_Vo Yeah, I do hope some day we hear the original versions of these cues, but still, the fact that these versions are up (and even the mere fact that Edd updated the Fox FDD cues) is fuckin' amazing, IMO :D
@@smashwhammy Oh yeah, the Aussie version loved putting that cue through its paces for all their tossups. 😁 Honestly, something about its composition that I liked more than the post-syndication physical challenge cues mid-1988/post-syndication DD / 1989 SSDD / 1990 and 1992 FDD used. IDK, maybe the guitars and strings, and the loud-sounding tick-tocking added a degree of pressure to anyone listening to it while pressed to finish a physical challenge. IDK, pulled that one outta my ass.😂
