@@hela8202 Yeah, unfortunately that's just one of the disadvantages of having user-made content, it's up to the users to do all of the work and that includes making subtitles And it takes a lot of time to do subtitles, so I completely understand why most don't. That being said that makes it apparent which creators truly care about their stuff. Like if a creator does subtitles I know they're putting in the extra effort so I always come back to check out their new stuff

So I've had tinnitus (ringing in my ears) since I was very young and I had a really bad flair up after my dad blasted music on his new speakers so I finally brought it up to my parents and they were like yeah that ain't normal. Thankfully my dad's job had insurance so went to an ear doctor and on the regular audio test I did not do very well. She then gave me an audio test that was vibrational. Basically the equipment simulates what your malleus, incus, and stapes do which is create vibrations based off of what stimulus they pick up and the vibrations are what you hear. That's why the laymen's terms for the first two are hammer and anvil. I scored perfectly. So the conclusion was that my malleus, incus, and stapes were misshapen from birth since it's highly irregular that they get damaged from sound. Hope this was helpful for ya I tried to keep it as concise as possible.

I love that the two big muscular "alpha male" type guys were so sweet, sincere and open, even mutually respectful too. He was both extremely protective but also respectful of his daughter in the way of defending someone you love as opposed to defending them as if they're your property or just to project your ego. He was saying how she doesn't need his permission to live her life and it's great seeing a man tell another guy how he has to be open about needs and emotions within a relationship. The guy in the security cap who went on a date with that guy's daughter seemed really sweet and caring. (He's also fine as hell) I liked that table the most. Dude in the brown shirt seems like the type who'd be online bragging about their success, badassery, money and sexual prowess while playing CoD in his mother's basement running up debt using credit cards to pay for OnlyFans. He seems like nothing more than a house kitten trying to hiss at a pride of lions. The other group was great and the dad with the beard in the gray shirt seemed super sweet too. He has a great smile and you could see him blushing a few times.

People are forgetting that we are a product of our environment (also that we're only getting a small glimpse of these individuals in a way that has been heavily edited to tell a story and be entertaining). Like, take a second to stop and put some pieces together. I saw another comment mention that the man in the brown jacket acted like everything was a threat. I agree with that statement. Responses were that he was insecure, though they weren't said neutrally; they were said negatively. The man mentioned that he doesn't have contact with his family anymore. He said the entire concept of family felt foreign to him. As a therapist, what I saw was potentially a trauma response in his behaviors. Obviously, I don't know him, and I'm not here to diagnose anything/anyone, but the lack of empathy in these comments and quickness to be cruel is heartbreaking.

It’s okay to be broken, clearly he has some trauma and baggage…but as a therapist, you of all people should know that it’s not fine to project our own pain onto others by behaving in a way that makes people uneasy. The guy came off like a cocky, arrogant, entitled, slightly threatening creep. Dude was a walking red flag. It doesn’t matter why he acted the way he did. He certainly deserves compassion and understanding for whatever he’s been through, but at the same time it’s not an excuse.

I want to preface that nothing I'm saying is said with malicious or hostile intent/tone of voice in mind. I have autism and thus struggle with conveying tone sometimes, but I am doing my best. The issue is there is no "excuses" happening. He never excused his behavior (to my knowledge; by now it has been awhile since I've watched) in the video. I did not excuse any sort of behaviors, but rather offered a potential explanation and the subsequent call to action was to not degrade people we don't know online. @@HE-162

When I need to remember the difference between an excuse and an explanation, I've found it can help to reconceptualize the situation in physical health terms. Something like "If this was something I could see impaired/delayed/hindered ability, would this sound like an excuse or an explanation?" It makes sense that it'd be hard to tell the difference when we cannot see it for ourselves. It's something we have to put trust in, which for many of us, is not easy. @@HE-162
