I still remember when my big brother beat the last boss first time, we both got so excited that we broke the sofa (it was old sofa). That was one of the best childhood memories that I have.🤧
I beat double dragon 1 2 3 on the phone..and the universe is rose from it .. Shes from street fighter 2D..as rose but called Cleopatra in a game cube...green house effet is the geine in the third one..he can carry 3 lighters Bruce Lee...
Are you kidding me?! NO WAY. This guy switches weapons and characters in less than a blink. The elevator was past the opening way before Chin even reappeared. Death lag. +1 on the hilarity though :)
As a kid, I played this with a few friends, and nobody wanted Chin. I had no idea how ridiculously powerful he was. Everyone wanted Ranzou. If I knew then how much of a tank he was, I would've been him instead hands down.
Man it took me and my younger brother serious team work to beat this one back in the day. This guy made it look easy. Also it is not only one of the few NES games where you could play as the bosses once you beat them. The option of being able to switch characters on the fly was truly unique at the time.Truly one of the best side scrollers ever made. :D
nah when i was kid i have it this game and was hard for me in the start but when i learn how to kill her is easy for that this game is verrry easy if you learn her but in the same time is verry good game
my first time fighting against her i jumped when she attacked with telekinesis. Was a jump that stucked me in the roof and was no step brother to help me. The only solution was to restart the game.
I still remember beating this game for the first time when I was 11 or 12. One of the most exciting things ever because I had never beat a Double Dragon game before. Brings back some memories for me
Salman Shaikh Like I said. I got the game new from my now recently deceased father as a 10th birthday gift. I could always get up to Marion the last boss but I could never beat her as a kid and I am someone who beat the original Ninja Gaiden games as a kid. I somehow got lucky 1 time 10 years later and I did it. Man you made it look way too easy.
Pixar The Great sad to hear about your father :( RIP. Btw as many people have said this video is not played manually but rather using Tool Assisted Run or TAS. I'm thinking of playing it again for fun maybe. Too nostalgic nowadays. Miss those good old days being a grown up is so boring.
man all the time we wasted playing this game... if i only knew how then... its not as hard as it seemed back then .. took us a month to complete ..cheers man .. brought back back some great memories
Holy sh*t what a perfect run that was, man just incredible! Back in a day, I remember clearly how I struggled to defeat this game and you made it look so simple it`s insane how good you are. Like AVGN said you are double dragon god, really the way you use the characters abilities is flawless. I will make one more reference to AVGN episode "But now comes CHIN! You don`t FU*K with CHIN : )
Ok apparently you guys have never played this game or you don't remember it well. I have an NES and just bought this game because I had it as a kid. I can easily beat it after lots of practice so I know the game well. This is very clearly a tool assisted speed run. The way he's moving the characters (watch how fast Chin moves left to right) is impossible. Solid performance, not diminishing that. It's definitely not a normal play through though.
thought it was weird i wish gdq would do this game. this was the hardest of the three back in the day lol. my hats off to any runners to this game lol.
Been getting into speed runs on NES games I played and beat as a kid and this is the first one I was like, there is no chance this is done in 10:27. I'm speechless dude.
Poor Ranzou. He was faced with two choices: A: Dodge the claw, then take out his opponent with a spinning back kick or, B: Take the claw to the face and die. As you can see, he should've gone with A.
Loco secoo!!este juego ya lleve mucho tiempo completando.,,pero la forma q jugaste...increible..eres muy bueno..,me superaste..alguna cosas q no entendia....jajajak!! Saludosss desde chile!! you the best my friend
Para mi que le este juego lo puso en el programa tas, porque 3 veces en la primera mision lo golpean y su muñeco no se nota que le hagan algun daño, al contrario sigue caminando y atacando como si nada.
Nailing the jump double kick with chin, to this day is still so satisfying. the CRUNCH CRUNCH noise it makes and how the enemies look *like all classic DD enemies do* when you hit them like they're birthing a cinderblock out of their ass.
Damn, whomever beat this game that fast is a prodigy! I couldn't even get past Level 2 on one player mode back in the day. My brother beat this game on his own on our old NES when he was 10, but only one time. The days before auto-save when it comes to console gaming. He left the NES powered on while he was at school, came back home and see if he can finish DD3 on NES.
7:12, there is a platform on the right side that you can glitch jump on, when you jump on it you jump again to the right of the screen and it’ll go black and for some reason it brings you straight to the end credits
@@indiankid8601 People think im BSing them when I say this but I went to school with a foreign exchange student in the early 80s who was the son of one of the developers. He even took me to his house two blocks away and showed me the chip reader he was using to load the artwork INTO the game! He didn't speak much english and was obviously Japanese. He moved back to Japan about a month later.
@@johnlewisbrooks But what has it got to do with the trick I told? I was just telling about turbo buttons on my NES controller. A normal Nintendo controller had two red buttons. Mine had 4. Later versions.
If i remember right you were able to skip entire levels just by doing that in air spin and pressing start it worked up to the last boss and then you had to beat it.
For my entire childhood I thought this game is tough, can't be played in single player mode. So, I always played with my brother teaming up. But this video changed everything.
no just you are noob if you want i wil finish it her like taht super easy only with the first charracter if you want she was my first game what i finish when i was so small and stupid kid for that he is not a pro just you are mega bad the game is super easy
it takes me 10 minutes to kill the final boss, good lord, i only kill the mummies with jump kicks and it takes around maybe 19 jump kicks each and this guy beats the whole game in 10 minutes...i need to go re-examine my whole life and i used to think i am a pro at this since the day it came out on famicom!
I dunno about that. Played this game countless times... never killed my ninja for no reason and don't recall ever having any type of load screen. This is NES not Playstation or Xbox, its not disc based, there are no load screens lol. I think maybe he felt it would be easier with his fat chinese man in the business suit who does belly flops instead of the ninja. To each, his own.
He did it to save one second in getting across that screen. Chin's punches do a lot more damage per hit than Bimmy or the ninja, which is why he uses him. He kills people faster.
