@@GabbPiano de rien! 😉 Si tu cherches des thèmes sympathiques sur NES, il y a également Astérix (Alberto Gonzalez) et Hero Quest (Neil Baldwin).

Obviously, I only show the front view when I look pretty comfortable. There are many passages where I will be seen to suffer if I show this plan ^^. Concerning this piece in particular, it is not very difficult technically (apart from the end) but I still have to be very focused on the part sequences because there is a lot of repetition but with some differences so you can easily get confused. Yes, strangely, missions 1 and 2 themes were reversed between the arcade version and the NES version.

@@GabbPiano I apologize for posting on this video several times... but you've inspired me to try and play this tune. Thanks so much for providing the midi for these tunes it has been a great help. Watching your expression at 0:36 I am just amazed how casually you are playing and not even looking at the keys (not just this tune of course) I hope one day to be as cool as you, I'll never be as handsome of course, but as long as I can play it. lol Thanks to your midi I have memorized the entire tune now (easier version) but just trying to play some of these parts with both hands is really confusing me for some reason. And just like you say "not very difficult technically", I can play much more complicated tunes (note wise) with both hands but the fact this tune is so quick and the left hand has such a repetitive aspect to it. It's kinda like poly-rhythmic, but not really. In that the left hand seems to slowly be going out of sync. I do wish I had learned to play piano when I was much younger lol. Anyway as ever, many thanks for keeping these old games alive. Even today I get a bit shunned because I don't play any "real" tunes, just game music. Keep up the good work.

@@neat3468 Video game music are real tune! Believe in this and convince those around you. Indeed, the independence of the hands, especially rhythmic, is a great difficulty on the piano. Here the difficulty comes I think from the repetition of the 5th finger on the left hand while the right hand plays with fingers 5 and 4. The natural reflex is to play with fingers 5 and 4 with both hands, or 5 and 5 . I'm really glad that my midi files are useful to you.

I try to get closer to the original music in my arrangements, but sometimes I allow myself some personal fancies. This will be the case in some music from Double Dragon II.

@@nastard3663 True, Mission 4 theme was my favorite when I was a kid, even if it is very short. But so I didn't dare to change it too much in my arrangement. I thought about doing it at first, but finally gave up on the idea. Indeed, after unsuccessfully testing several possibilities, I came to the conclusion that what I liked about this theme was precisely its repetitiveness and its insistence.
