Hi, yes it can. But the sound unit will need additional tiny battery.

The second battery should be used but please postpone purchasing it for another 2-3 weeks time as we are testing a new solution to resolve some failing sound systems. We should release a new version soon together with a filter which will ensure that the sound system works properly.

There are two power supply lines in the package of the sound group cable, one is to use the receiver to get power, and the other is to use the 2S 7.4V battery to get power. If your excavator is an electric version, you need to prepare another one. A 7.4V battery Insert the power cord plug of the sound group into the battery charging socket Hope it helps you

@@daoud1554 and Double E quick question as you seem to know your stuff Daoud. I’m an RC heli guy but have gotten into Excavators. I have bought the E 010 it’s in transit will be here few days. I want to put the sound unit in. Why would it need a 2s pack when it plugs into the receiver. Why wouldn’t you just run a better pack then the one supplied with the Electric version. The hydraulic version it runs off the receiver looking at this video it’s a strong and bigger pack that is supplied with the E010. Im just puzzled as to why not increase the pack size and output to allow the machine no power loss with the audio unit installed ?

@@radio2cm903 Because the original intention of our sound group design is to deal with the relatively high-end E111, which is the hydraulic version of the excavator. Because the ESC systems used by these two products are different, but after trying it on the E010, there will be a sound wave current in the middle that jumps a lot, which blocks the power supply of the sound group, so this kind of BUG will appear. At present, E010 players have a large demand for this sound group, so now they can only be compatible, and use a 7.4V battery to independently power the sound group, so that at least E010 players can use this sound group. @@daoud1554 I have the V3 machine , l feel it’s the king of the electric excavators on offer. Size wise , detail is very well done , craftsmanship of this model for the price is outstanding. I also have the V4 Hunia 1580 it’s been a good machine. The 160e (010) by double E is far superior and a stronger digger. I think people have to be realistic these are electric machines that dig perfectly in loss dirt. It’s been raining in Australia for months , I had my new Machine out digging yesterday. The esc overload and came on the stick ram actuator . 5 seconds later she was fine. So I knew I was putting the machine past it’s design limits. I felt the soil and it was clay like soil and the machine did very well. But I stopped digging there rather then damage my new machine. Today I had her digging in garden soil, loss soil from the hardware store for my wife’s flower garden and the 160e has no issues with big bucket loads of soil. Electric machines aren’t going to dig into harden soil , if you do and force your machine you will damage it. I turn all of the gains right down which gives the machine a very smooth slow life like movement. I would like the sound unit but I think I will wait till they have a nice easy set up for the 010 version. Overall the V3 of this machine is hobby grade entry level that as soon as you open the box you can tell the quality is there. Congrats Double E on sorting the issues and giving us a really nice electric machine. I love mine and recommend to anyone into RC excavator’s that like me can’t justify spending 10k on a hydraulic one that yes will dig into hardened soil but don’t want the wife killing you ! You can’t beat the V2,V3 of this machine.

@@DOUBLEECaDA I am honestly not sure I wanna try it anymore, I kinda gave up on it.. at least the excavator still works, as it was not so hard to reverse what I had done..
