That first case, that baby doesn't look anything like him and she slept with his friend. She conveniently threw out that she was taken advantage of like it was nothing. Lies! The mom sounds like she made a choice to keep her daughter away from her father and people are applauding her! Wow. What a world we live in. She wasn’t grilling him. Judge Lake speaks out against young people having children all the time. She was basically telling him not to make promises he couldn’t keep, especially because he was young. He hadn’t been supporting the child financially when there was a possibility that the child was his, why would he say he would continue to be there for the child after knowing it wasn’t his?

No one said he did not work. she only said she works 2 jobs to help this couple and baby whom she has along with 2 other children. Maybe she does not want to put that on her husband because Ashley is not biologically his, maybe she feels he shouldn't feel obligated to help with Ashley's child and boyfriend since he helped with Ashley for 18 years and she is not his bio daughter. In a 15 minutes episode the mom can't give you all the backstory.

That first case was a prime example of what I’ve said before this show and the judge is biased towards women. Every doubt he presented she told him it wasn’t enough like she wanted him to fully catch her in the act just to prove his point. case one, if I was the judge I would not have discouraged the young man when he said he was going to be there as it was an admirable thought. Granted he has been wishy-washy up until this point, and I would have certainly reminded him that if he's going to be there he needs to be consistent because that child does not need inconsistency but otherwise I think she went to her about it the wrong way

This guy is struggling to get a word in with this girls mother interrupting. He does not have a voice, no wonder he is insecure.
