My curiosity was piqued about the line, "I am for the honest butter", so off to google I went. The only hit was the transcript from the 1886 Annual Proceedings of the National Egg, Butter, and Cheese Association. A good amount of time was spent discussing oleomargarine and in my brief scanning, I caught something about the customer being duped into thinking it was the honest butter. I think it may have become some kind of tag line for them.

I wanted to mention that my Aunt Ruth used to work for Hallmark in Florida. She talked about the other ladies that she worked with and what fun they had together. She has passed on but at her funeral her Hallmark friends stood up and said how much they loved her and how much fun they had together. She was of those "life of the party" type people.

I have that Golden Book of Natural History....bought it when my kids where little bacj in early 90s. Also have a Captain Kangaroo tell a tale book....same publishers. PS Etsy guidelines if memory serves puts 20+ years old to list an item as vintage
