@@zeropolicy7456 Yeah right now there basically no challenge to his current playtime. FF7 and probably the Ed DLC is gonna change that. Then the Akuma trailer will also shift some priorities too.
@@IsaacSperrowFF7 probably, but Max was already bored of SF6 in august to the point where he didn’t touch it much since, only played dlc characters for a week. It’s unlikely that he will play much SF over Tekken.
The aggression that she has is definitely good. But I wouldn't recommend throwing the Wind Kick so much in Neutral/pressure. She was doing that move so much man. That move is so bad(Unsafe on block/Step-able/Bad on whiff) that you shouldn't be throwing that much. It's only use is Okizeme. Edit: Nvm, the perfect version is -9 making it safe. I stand corrected.
Nothing serious, just that there's a lot of people that are against others helping out saying "they should watch the whole thing if they're interested in what thumbnail says!" essentially gatekeeping thoes who just want to see the moment described, and there's plenty of them to make others look like minority in this situation.@@chariotrequiem5465
I love that Max plays Victor. His whole design feels like a love letter to all the flashy over the top John Wick stylized combat so prevalent in media these days and Max’s channel is dedicated to badass flashy action. Victor is gonna deserve a spot in the Intro at this rate
Been loving your content for only a couple years now. Well deserved nominations. Playing Victor before I watched you dive into tekken 8 recently and I gotta say, such a bad ass char. So entertaining. Might I recommend, when you are facing more aggressive opponents, which will become more frequent as you climb ranks (ex. REALLY good reinas and drags) you should take advantage of d4s really appreciative properties in those matchups. Your fastest low, which carries enormous CH throw damage when being pressured as such. And it beats power Crush ;) can't be launched in those aggressive match ups.
I haven't caught up with Max playing Tekken in a while, but HOLY COW his capture looks INSANE! This is why I love watching him, because he's the only one I've seen on Twitch who goes above and beyond when it comes to discovering the best visual output for his viewership, as well as preserving and enhancing the majority of retro consoles that are at his disposal.
@spudd3328 last one I played was Tekken 3. I dont like how you can hit someone while they are laying on the ground. I do like the sidestep though. Idk just always like SF more
@@philb707 yeah I really have 2D fighter brain. I’ve tried Tekken in the past and it was fun messing around. But seeing people that know what they’re doing throws me off because I can’t understand why certain things do or don’t work lol. I just think “That’s Tekken” lol
I picked this game up after commenting on a previous video that I was starting to want it. Superb decision on my part, I’m having a blast with Alisa. Thanks for making Tekken 8 look so rad!
It’s encouraging to see Max lose a fair amount, I’m at the same rank he is as of this video and it’s HARD to progress, patience is so important as the ranks go up.
On the bright side when you rank up, your other characters auto rank up somewhat, like Im in the oranges with Reina and Victor and it auto ranked everyone else up to the blues
Jin is great in this game, as someone who mained him since Tekken 3 (2016) this best Jin has ever been in Tekken. I like how complex yet beginner friendly he is. Devil Jin is another one I main, if you play Mishima’s Like Kazuya or Tekken 3 Jin you’re gonna feel right at home with this Character along with the new moves.
The best part is that Max can have fun even when he's getting washed. It's very rare to see him call himself out on a bad round, he keeps learning with every matchup.
Whenever Max gets a double ko in Tekken you know that he’s really giving his all in the fight. This is why I love playing as Reina Mishima, her fighting style is incredible against sword welders.
Why does it feel like whenever I try to side step my character doesn’t move as far as others and I still get clipped by moves? Before anyone asks, no they aren’t using the moves that hit side steppers.
I love watching people play fighting games. I suck at them and it's cool to see people who are good at them play them. The only fighting game im somewhat good at is smash bros but games like tekken, SF, MK, KI im not so good at.
Same principal as watching sports you dont even play, its entertainment at the end of the day and tekken's visual presentation makes it a nice viewer game
so many people fall for reinas while crouching df4, she has no lows while crouching and no significant while rising launchers, if she ducks just neutral block
I haven't been playing the game long but how is it that this Reina at 0:45 has their hakama (pants) all colored and stuff? I've been trying to figure that out for a while now, I don't know if it's another costume to obtain or if it's an option somewhere. If someone could help, that'd be fantastic Edit: I ended up finding it and god damn do I feel fuckin stupid. Thanks guys!
I haven't been playing long either, but you can change the color of clothes by pressing triangle I believe (button 2) when you are hovered over them. Idk if that is what you are talking about.
