This video made me and my friend try out fortemons yesterday and I came up with an OP Corviknight build, It had Iron Defense, Roost, Drill Peck Iron Head, the item was Body Press, I used it to sweep my friend because he had 5 physical attackers, and when he tried to lower it's defense with crunch Tyranitar, he failed because of the hidden ability lol

Someone told me the Hydro Steam item doesn't work because it only works codded for Hydro steam meaning that nothing is getting boosted I don't know if that's true or if it's the situation. Only Water moves because their inherent effect isn't Hydro Steam. So like 100 Water Damage would be halved to 50 and then boosted by 50% which 50% of 50 is 25 which would mean 75. I mean still better than 50 but like. At that point you're only doing it to run stronger move powers which even 110/2= 55/2= 27.5 or essentially 27 + 55=77 effective power which is for sure weaker than even Hydo Steams base 80 and especially it's effective 120.

Did you know Sheer Force is a broken ability in Fortemons? If you use a move in item slot boosted by it, some moves have their negative effects negated even when normally they wouldn't. Braviary can abuse STAB on Giga Impact without a recharge turn or benefit from Close Combat not dropping its defenses. Hariyama can abuse close Combat and Headlong Rush too, while also using Giga Impact.

It is a metagame on pokemon showdown on which you can use an ATTACKING move as an item and it's SECONDARY effect will work for every move that your mon has. Example: A hatterene with draining kiss as an item will make all it moves(like psyshock, dazzling gleam etc) heal 75% of the damage done

Having Libero would make Cinderace do a better job. I would suggest having Pyro Ball and for massive damage output, instead of Sucker Punch, so Libero wouldn’t activate until the moment arrives.

I have been trying to use moves that dont check accuracy(like aerial ace n swift) as a held item to make moves like hydro pump n hurricane 100% accurate but it doesnt work. Do u know why?

moves only transfer their effects to other moves, having non-checking accuracy just means the move has "infinite" accuracy. However, their are moves that can transfer accuracy - the weather based Hurricane, Thunder and Blizzard. Which under their respective weather no attack will miss. In the case of Hurricane and Thunder, they will also have a higher chance of missing under sun, so you could miss a 100% accurate move funnily enough.

It doesnt transfer the accuracy of the move it transfers the effects. The effect of hurricane/thunder is that they don’t miss in rain, so if they were in the item slot any move used in rain would always hit. Arial ace doesn’t have any effects, it has “infinity” accuracy.
