@@heatherrockwell9012 lol technically true, but I hold Grian responsible for 1) deciding to dig toward the sound of a zillion zombies with Scar in tow, and 2) giving Scar permission to go steal the TNT. There was really only one possible outcome in both those scenarios :p
Idea, Super Life. Everyone has a “super power” which would basically be like an infinite potion effect. It would be an even better twist if the player has to find out their power themselves
this sounds like a fun idea. it would be funny to watch as they try and get a handle on how there charters move/ effect things and then interesting to see how they could use there ability's to either stay alive or kill everyone else.
Actually having to find out what your power is would actually be such a fun twist. People setting themselves on fire to find out, a player walking into a village only to immediately start a raid

Absolutely. I love the gimmicks, but even if they were to put out another 20 seasons of the original 3rd Life I'd absolutely watch them. The chemistry and interactions of this group is just so good!

"Hidden life" would be a cool spin. Death messages arent shown in chat and everyones life count wouldnt be shown until the end of each session. Maybe it would be interesting to have it so red lives can do even more than what they can now? idk!
I love how, ultimately, the thing that killed Grian was a horrible two block high staircase that took forever to climb up-just like the one he claimed he didn’t have much time to make in an earlier episode lol
The next life series can be called "Secret Life" or something and everyone gets assigned a random number of live and nobody knows how much until they are red.

That sounds fun! It'd really up the tension, every death would be scary because someone might have hit red (and the reds couldn't target greens like they did this time, no one would know who actually has the most lives to spare)
SPOILER WARNING It's almost poetic that after a whole season of Grian desperately protecting Scar, he's the one that got them killed, while Scar managed to survive so many risky things.
Thank you, Grian. My two young boys and I all enjoy Minecraft, and the 'Lives' series are something we devour with each new incarnation. It always gives us new things to talk about, to laugh about, and to inspire shenanigans in our own games. So from our household to yours: Thank You.
Just gotta say, those ending credits were ✨polished✨ Seriously, this is one of my favorite series to watch, even over Hermitcraft. I think we would all love if you did another one. Not sure if you're looking for suggestions, but if you are you could do a randomizer life (with a much better title) Everyone starts on 3 lives except one or two people, then once night falls everyone's lives are randomly swapped around. As players lose lives the number of lives available begins to dwindle, and you get the fun of not knowing if your alliances will suddenly include some reds!
Targeted life, everyone has a target for the season, if they get their target, they gain a life, if they die to their target they lose two lives. However you don't know who your target is until a set session.
Target life is a really cool concept! Maybe in like session 3 you are told your target! Also, adding onto this idea, what if everyone had a major weakness, like arrows or fall damage. So at the beginning you are told the weakness and have to keep it a secret or else it can be detrimental and fatal
"Short life" you live normally when you are yellow/green, but when you are red you get a time limit. If the timer runs out you are kicked out of the series, in order to get more time, you must kill others. Making another suggestion, seeing as people have problems with the other :D Extra life: You get 4 lives, so therefore you are a dark green name! But you only get 7 hearts, so its a better chance of death. But you won't run out of lives immediately!
Idea: Switch life, or something like that At the start everyone is assigned a random number of lives (like last life), but at the start of the session everyone swaps the number of lives they have with another player. Red names wouldn't swap their lives at the start of a session. This could lead to some shenanigans like, someone ending a session with 6 lives, then starting the next one with 2 lives, or so on.
Big life: the map starts a lot larger than usual but every hour or so (let’s say about half the time it takes a session so there’s 2 shrinks in 1 episode) the border shrinks a bit making it more and more cramped and leading to easier conflict
Idea: Scarred for Life. Everybody else has no life restrictions, but Scar has only one, and the whole point is to try to keep Scar alive as long as possible, while Scar is just going around being Scar.
Idea: "Western Life or something like that. And there are no rules at all, (except for the absolutely necessary ones) and every session there's a random bounty that gets assigned and anyone on the server can go and claim it for a pretty handsome prize. I think that could be interesting. Also everyone has to wear a cowboy hat or something lol.
Do a series where the world border is always moving… so that there isn’t a Permanent settlement… but it can occasionally make its way back to older parts
Started watching last year with “Last Life” series. Absolutely loved it, subscribed to everyone’s channels and watched every POV. After the season ended, went back and watched all the “3rd Life” series, again watching everyone’s POV. I missed Mumbo, Skizz, and Lizzie this time around, and was honestly bummed that the series only lasted 6 episodes. Please do more of these “Life” series. Can’t wait for the next one!

Idea: Daredevil life. Every episode, everyone is given a random challenge they have to complete. If they complete the challenge, they gain a life, if they lose/fail to complete a challenge, they lose a life. Like every other series, red names can kill whenever, however the other colours can only kill if their dare is to kill a certain player. Perhaps to make it even more interesting, players could have the ability to swap dares, so this would be good for betrayals or confusing each other to benefit themselves.

The fact that despite how much trouble Grian gave Scar over not going to the Deep Dark and in the end it was Grian who died in the deep dark is so poetically awesome
Idea: Exile Life At the end of every episode, everyone gathers around a nether portal at the center of the map and chooses a member of the server to exile to the Nether for the next episode. Details: - No killing allowed during (or after) exile selection. - No one can be exiled twice, unless everyone remaining has been exiled. - Prioritize exiling green players over yellow players, and yellow players over red players. In some cases exile will be forced (i.e. one unexiled green left). - Exiled players may return to their base to gather resources before going to the nether. - Exile ends either when (a) the next exile meeting starts, (b) the exiled dies, or (c) in the finale episode, when one other person remains.
That’s an interesting concept, but the person who is exiled would have a bit of a boring video, just in the nether, and it’s fairly easy if you have gear. Plus you won’t interact with anyone else while in the nether, and a main aspect of the life series is to interact with others. Still, this idea is interesting, it just needs some edits ^^
Idea: Another life series with three lives except every session there is a specific person chosen at random you need to kill. That person that you have to kill has to kill a different random player, and so on so it's not just 1v1s
Another idea is "After Life": where dead players, "ghosts", can affect the world or living players, perhaps through possession. And maybe ghosts are like boogie men, where it's randomly selected, and do or die.
Ooh that's a great idea! And maybe the ghosts could manipulate other players so that they kill the person who killed them, making every ghost have a specific target
Idea: Paired Life, basically a cross between last life and double life, where people are paired and have a random number of lives, but instead of the boogie man, there is a duo that has to survive the entire session or they are immediately set to their last life. The duo that has to survive gets a blue name.

its been over a month since this season ended and i still can’t stop thinking about it!! the life series is truly something special, and i hope you don’t need too much convincing that another season would absolutely be wanted and loved! thank you and everyone else for giving us such a fun experience!
No, not until they're red but until they're DEAD. So you can secretly kill someone and make "Alliances" a lot less likely. You never know when Scar could be red and "Hot Guy" you. ;)
Secret Life: similar to season two, everyone starts with between two and five lives, but you can't see what color anyone else is on. Allows red lives to bide their time, mingling and fraternizing, while they set traps.
This is a really good idea, especially the idea someone replied about not seeing until red, but all these “life” series are named kinda after numbers so I would love to see this but named something like “first life” or something like that
Earlier I contemplated a series with Secret Items (including illegal items like spawn eggs or portal frames) and something like the boogey system to encourage natural combat. Another consideration now - a bounty system. But not where the player has to complete their kill in just one episode. More like, each player has their own secret Bounty List of several players from the start of the game. They "have" to kill all of the players on that list. Could go in a few different ways, for example you gain more lives the sooner you complete each bounty (or other incentives). Maybe the first player to clear their bounty list wins...? If it's too simplistic, then people are too afraid to be near eachother. But, you need others to best build your strength, right?
there’s something honestly really uplifting about the ending being the warden slowly making its way to the surface, like after all of the carnage life still finds a way

Dude I've just got back into Minecraft, found your channel and I've been laughing every single episode. I would never expect a small party of friends in a relatively small location generate so much fun, exciting and memorable situations. It's genuinely more entertaining, than any scripted films, tv shows or series I've ever watched. I really wish you all keep doing something like that from time to time. This is hilarious, exciting, captivating, you name it 🔥
Secret Life: Lives are randomly rolled at the beginning of the season, just like S2, but the colors are hidden to all but the player, so no one knows for sure who's on red until they make a move. Has a bit of social deduction flavor, where someone could kill another through a means that doesn't give a death message naming them, letting them deny it. Downside is that watching the others' videos or checking out fan-made stuff would spoil it pretty quickly. :/
Really cool idea. Alternatively what if players can see how many lives each other have but don't know how many lives they themselves have until they get t red?
Suggestion for the next “Life” season: “Night Life”- the server is set permanently to night, and everyone glows (like with spectral arrows) but in the color of their life!
Idea for a future season inspired by your 'safe circle'. There could be a zone/region where players can't take damage or pvp is turned off or something
These “life” series are so good and enjoyable I really like that you just know that they aren’t scripted and that they are so unpredictable. I would quite enjoy to watch another series

Idea: Squads life Everyone else in the double life cast will spawn with theyre double life partner But They are soul bound to another pair Like for example grian amd scar amd paired with pearl and scott Grian and scar cant take dmg from each other but will take dmg if they hit the pair they're soul bound to.
Idea for next series: 'which life' - you start with a random amount of lives and when you die, you lose a random amount from gaining a life to losing 3.
the life series are such a genius idea. we need another season. im not even kidding if we were to have 10 seasons of this series, i would still watch every season with same passion.
Idea: TASK LIFE At the beginning of every session, green and yellow lives are given an individual task to complete. If they fail to complete the task by the end of the session, they lose a life (unless they reached red life before completing the task). Also at the start of every session, red lives are told which tasks need to be completed, but not by whom, so they can attempt to sabotage. Green lives must announce their task and what it was immediately when they complete it.
I’ll be honest i really liked last life having the trade lives mechanic, and while that wouldn’t really work with the soulmate thing, if the next season happens, I would love to see the life trading return.
what could happen is lives can be exchanged but the soulmates also receive/give away the life. another fun idea could be changing the soulmate every session (or every other session) but only people with the same amount if lives. greens shuffle around, yellows shuffle, and red would also shuffle. it'd be similar to the boogeyman and would cause a lot of chaos and drama
"Wrong Life" could be a cool concept, where either players inventories get swapped randomly in a session, or players get swapped physically via a random tp, or have it be like double life and have the game randomly swap soulmates each session
What about if it's at the end of a session, so people are hiding all of their inventories AND whenever anyone dies? So there's the potential to keep some stuff, BUT if someone dies everyone's inventories swap around? You could even have keepInventory on, it removes the need for secret bunkers of backup gear bc if you die you get someone else's gear and they get yours
The thing ab the life series is that there's a level of consistency to their gimmicks. Random tp's don't change the game much, it just seems really inconvenient

“Half Life” could be interesting. You start with twenty hearts, but when you die you go down to ten, then to five on your red life. You would have to be more careful the longer you live

These series’ are my favorite MC content. Please keep them up! Even if there wasnt a new twist it would still be entertaining. Last life was my favorite with the boogeyman bringing guaranteed action in each video

Oh MANNNN! That was SO MUCH FUN! I watched double life when it came out, but forgot almost everything that happened, so it was great getting to experience it all again! Though it was a short series, it’s been one of my favorites. I absolutely adore the life series. It brings so much laughter and is such a special thing. It means a lot to me and all the fan art and animations only make it better! 💚💛❤️
i’m not surprised this was a shorter season, everyone was essentially taking two players’ damage. but that didn’t make it any less entertaining, this was seriously fun, and i’m really excited for the next season if you choose to make one !!

I don't really care what the new season brings, but one thing I want is it to be in summer. (For the Southern Hemisphere) 3rd Life was in autumn, Last Life was in spring and Double Life was during the winter. Please complete the circle. This is all I want in life
Doubling down on my idea for an "Afterlife", where players eliminated from the initial survival environment go to a sort of "castaway island" scenario which has different rules, and the chance to get back into the normal survival cycle. A subsequent elimination from there would result in eternal damnation, if you will.
Can we just take a second to appreciate the end credits, that song is perfect mixed with the amazing art, i felt serenity, and calm emotions, it feels so nostalgic! i legit wish there was a music video thanking all the artists while we saw all their art!! and the background song was "never gonna slow down"
Heres another idea. Half-life. Everyone has a random number of lives, and they only have 5 hearts instead if 10. Other gimmicks are advised, but that's basically the main premise.
Idea for the next series: Chosen Life This series gimmick would be that at the end of every episode, the Participants would get to vote on who should lose a life and whoever had the most votes would lose their life. BUT THERE''S MORE, this series would have a new variation of the boogeyman...THE JESTER! The Jester would be selected at the beginning of the episode and their goal would be to try to get voted at the end of the episode. If they get voted, they get to choose whose life gets taken away, but also get that life for themselves. I also think the 2-6 lives mechanic was great and should bring it back! I would absolutely watch another of these series! They're so entertaining and I love watching you guys have fun. You never know what's going to happen and that is what makes them great. Keep up the good work! And I absolutely love the end credit sequence! The music is perfect and watching the Warden rise to the surface is kind of relaxing lol.
Maybe “Life Swap” where you can swap bodies with someone, and then they take your lives and you lake theirs. EX: A red name swaps with a green, and then the green becomes red and the red is green. *OR* To extend other creator’s series after they die, “Afterlife” could be where after you loose your three lives, you become a ghost. Ghosts are either tricksters or helpers, like Allays or Vexes. A trickster ghost would play pranks on green and yellow lives, and reds if a red killed them. A helper would help greens and yellows to stay out of danger, but they can only choose one person. *OR OR* “Past Life” where an aspect of every past series is in the new series. EX: Three lives from 3rd life, Boogiemen from Last Life, and soulmates from Double Life. The Boogiemen would be a pair of soulmates. *OR OR OR* “Inverted Life”, where the greens are the ones who kill, and the reds live peacefully.
I like the idea of After Life, that sounds really cool! Life swap would be a cool idea as well but I don't know if the creators would have any motivation to actually swap with the other players. Like I don't see why a green life would want to swap with a red life, so it might not work out as well. It would work if there was some kind of motivation to do it though, I just don't know what that would be. As for Past Life, I had a similar idea and I think that would be really cool! However, that seems like a finale to the series and it might be better if they saved that until later, and then after maybe 6 or 7 versions, then they could do that to wrap up the series (or maybe they could continue it afterwards, idk) and it would be even more interesting with even more mechanics

one life : same rules as other seasons but everyone starts out with one life and a piece of paper, the papers are selected randomly and have hints to spots around the map containing more lives. The chests can contain one or more lives and/or a piece of paper to another location. There are a few duplicate papers so you may be racing against others to the location, or you may be the only one on the server with that specific hint/location. Throughout the map there can be other locations/maps throughout so someone can go exploring for extra lives as well. This would also add the aspect of stealing the paper from each other, and would be interesting to see if people align together and make deals based on the paper. Also the level of difficulty for each location is varying, for example some may just require one to mine in a certain spot to find the additional lives/life, or it may be location in the deep by the warren or in a complicated spot in the neither.
Good but what if someone dies trying to find the chests? Like a chest could be in a cave but then mobs kill them? It would be very bad for a creator to immediately get out of the series just 10 minutes in of 1 episode.
Rewatching this entire series, and finally watching the credits, I recognize Danny and Gareth. Good to see they haven't been completely forgotten by Grian.
An idea for the next "life" installment, "Better Life" where when you are yellow you have 15 heats and when you are red you have 20 hearts to prevent certain deaths
