yeah, i get that. but what i don t really get is how their amazon store works in europe? where i see great offers on amazon com i never see those on amazon de for example. and i mostly see 3rd party offers over here. still, it s all very planned and calculated, unfortunately, but as long as we do not say no collectively, they can do whatever the fuck they want…

@@NerdAndProudOfIt this is how it works you have a store for each country and each country has 1+ warehouses. You send stuff to a warehouse and when it arrives you can use a browser to set the price whenever you want. After a certain time if you did not sell any items you will have to pay massive storage fees like 2-5 euro a box you pay fees monthly. the point is if you put stuff in the warehouse you must sell asap those prices increase during Christmas and such if you have a few pallets the monthly costs are insane and if you only sell a few box a month it is cheaper to do a mass discount other options are shipping back + fees or destruction of your goods. having a booster box in the warehouse can reduce your sale into a loss pretty fast if it rents space @ Amazon. They do this because you can send in 1000 boxes and Amazon will take care of shipping each order and customers with Amazon prime will get free shipping and you do not pay for that only a fixed percentage of the sale + monthly storage costs if your product is there longer than a month.

hey crosswalk! that is a great way to approach it! fair prices and low risk. amazon in europe unfortunately does not price mtg as low as amazon com does sometimes, otherwise that would be a good solution 😜. did you ever have any probs with searched or open boxes with amazon, i hear so much about? and yeah, same here. i have not bought any boxes so far this year. i just preordered the warhammer commander decks, that s it. the rest of my budget went into old cards 😁. i am looking forward to brothers war, though, and i surely will buy a case 😎👊🏻!

@@NerdAndProudOfIt That's a bummer Amazon doesn't price things out the same in Europe. I've only ever pre-ordered from Amazon because of that open box issue. Actually the last time I ordered mtg was War of the Spark. I bought some English and some Japanese at $120 and $130 per box. The Japanese boxes looked great and the one I opened wasn't revealed but the English boxes were smashed up pretty bad. I contacted them for a return and they let me keep the boxes for free. After seeing the TSR problem I would only ever pre-order

@@coachesmagic2886 makes sense. that s why i like to get sealed cases. i they open two boxes and get the big hits they sell the other boxes of the case and open a new one. and yeah, a couple of bucks more for peace of mind is normally my preferred choice as well!
