I would recommend using a Frixion pen to mark lines on your fabric instead of a permanent marker. That permanent marker lines Eleanor made are not going to come off of the cutting mat. With a Frixion pen, the lines disappear when touched with a hot iron. Also, those black lines do not disappear when the blocks are cut. They may show through any white or light colored fabric blocks after being pressed.
The presentation is cheesy but not in a bad way. I just find myself adoring her enthusiasm. I feel like I'm getting a lesson from my grandma which makes it that much better.
