In trips..if they lock backside…and uses the WS to help the trips..it’s essentially..3on3 with the two safeties and corner on the double post and wheel…do we settle for the late crosser or work the 1 on 1 backside?

If they use WS to poach trips then yes I would talk to my QB about taking the matchup with the CB. I’d also tag comeback to the single WR against man. I’d work the RB into the concept to the single WR as well

Yes it will as safety takes 2 vertical opening up the post by 1 behind it (in 2x2)

How would you run this from 20 personnel

Wheel route by the RB out of the backfield, most likely to the boundary for timing purposes. Also works well if it’s a sniffer too

@@TheSpreadOffense so the 2 WR’s to the boundary with a wheel from the RB or sniffer to the boundary. Then a corner or crack corner from the solo WR to the field?
