DOUBLE REACTION TO Astrid S & Dagny - Pretty (Official & Acoustic) 

Astrid S is one of our sweethearts that came up from an Idol audition,made it trough the elimination phases,and made it all the way to a solid 5th place in 2013. 3 years later she released Hurts So Good that landed her a nomination for Song Of The Year at the Norwegian Grammies 2016,wich continued with her releasing an album in 2017 wich gave her an Grammy for Best Breakthrough Artist at the Norwegian Grammies in 2017. Where she also got nominated for Song Of The Year (2017) with "Think Before I Talk". She got nominated for Song Of The Year in 2018 as well,with "Emotion" . Also in 2018 she won the prestigious Artist Of The Year at only 21 years of age. So shes our "golden girl" this one,that prize is usually something you get after being in the business for quite some time,and proven yourself for a long time that you deserve such an award. But there are more to her story,then just showing up at Idol,she took her first piano lessons at 6 years of age,clearly having music as her future passion. During MTV European Music Awards in 2015 she won an award for Best Norwegian Artist. That came as an surprise for many,but when i mention who she has worked with already in her career,it might not be that surprisingly. Astrid S got to sing a duet with Shawn Mendes in 2015 called "Air". Shawn has an official audio of it on his channel,where Shawns fans got obsessed with how well they sounded together,and wants more! Victoria Nadine - Happy Tears (Lyric Video) Dropped this only 11 days ago,and its her coming into frame sitting down,she will turn towards the camera at one point. Another sweetheart that deserves alot more attention and appreciation then she gets. I think the song might be abit more to your liking too,its abit more focused on vocal performance then Astrid and Dagnys duet. If you want more from Victoria Nadine,i suggest this one where she opens her heart about a rough time in her life: Victoria Nadine - Saw It Coming. Hey,i might tip her off on a future reaction,and im quite positive that she will come on over and give you a comment,maybe even a sub. They are all sweethearts really,and very humble and interactive. You might love this MORE then happy tears actually! Victoria was a contestant during the 9th season of Norwegian Idol in 2016 and made it to 4th place! So alongside Astrid,she also had her future layed before her thanks to an Idol audition. Victoria with her long dark hair has some thinking of Angelina Jordan😁 Sigrid - Sucker Punch (Sigrid is on the same age as Aurora *26 turning 27*,if you are familiar with our blonde Angel as i call Aurora. This is a fun,uptempo song of hers that has BLOWN UP on RU-vid) Last but not least,another best friend of Astrid and Dagny: Julie Bergan - Blackout (Live @ Lindmo NRK) You might want to hear how the original song sounds like,but Julie live and acoustic with a backing band is on another level: Julie Bergan - Blackout (Official Music Video) For all i know,she might appear in the comments section as well. Cant promise anything,but they are really interactive and appreciative,so i would guess so lol. With that said,this is not someone i expect you to react to,i just felt like adding some suggestions for you,just in case. Its something i used to do all the time while working in radio,i guess it has just stuck with me. Im a musical library,so i tend to slip on the soapbox there. But i did enjoy seeing that there were actually someone reacting to Astrid S and Dagny,so cheers for that!

The acoustic is also my favorite, it's magical. The first song I heard from Astrid was Hyde and the acoustic is a VIBE, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for your reaction and thoughts. A very nice little tune. I do prefer the acoustic one. You mentioned Somebody - the acoustic version of that is terrific. You get to hear more of Dagny’s beautiful, slightly husky voice. Dagny also covered Susanne Sundfør’s Undercover, and very well… no small feat. Astrid S also has several songs worth checking out (“It’s OK If You Forget Me” studio version + acoustic and many others). They both arguably have songs that are less mainstream. And I’d love to see the double reaction format return for some more Sigrid songs. :) There’s a whole album out now that you presumably haven’t heard, except for one… maybe two songs. :) Also, more Sissel of course, Highasakite (speaking of acoustic), the continued Susanne Sundfør journey, Emilie Nicolas, Ina Wroldsen, etc. 😅

LOve your reaction to this Adam! I like both versions equally much I think, and often listen to either of them. As she has done for/with Aurora, Christine in NRK has done HAIK shows with both Astrid Sand and with Dagny and also challenged them to do covers of other artists in her P3 tv-shows. Dagny also did a consert with nrk's symphonic orchestra, it aired one week ago, it was just beautyful. At same time Astrid S did a consert in my hometown which earned her good comments as well. Both are singer /songwriters and have been doing great with their own bands for some years now. Fun fact: Astrid played the lead role as Cinderella in the movie 'Three wishes for Cinderella' which premiered about a year back. Her acting earned her lots of appraisal and positve reviews. She also contributed a lovely song to the film score. Oh and both have done model work too.

The first version is catchy but I like the acoustic one way better. It was more emotional and emotions are very important for me when I listen to music.
