People who go through grief or just mental health in general absolutely need people like you in their lives. People that don't jump ship when things are tough, but are there to help steer the boat and power through. I know this as someone who has both been through dark times and who has had immediate family members struggle with mental health issues. People like you are heros and literal life savers.. so thanks for being there for our friend Steve.

I have one of the best marriages, my wife and I are so intertwined that I could not imagine life without her. Whenever you talk of Jess, I tear up because I imagine my life without my wife. Sometimes, it's good to remember and I even had a good old cry. We are all human, and we all love you, Steve.

I swear Steve gets some of the absolute *BEST* B-roll footage I've ever seen. It's not like he's out finding extremely rare hidden gem spots. Most of them are just regular camp grounds or stealthers. Some how though he finds beauty in every site! Perhaps that's the lesson I got from today's episode. Sometimes it's not about the place you're in but the views you look for from it.

Not many RU-vid channels that I "must watch now" when I get the notification but Camping with Steve is definitely one of them!

I love that Steve is able to publicly relive memories with Jess. We all felt like we knew her. This was a nice, calming video and the fish and chips made my mouth water. I was a little anxious about that hot vat of oil and that wind. Happy it ended well!

I still go to sleep listening to rain on RU-vid videos. It helps handle the pain of neuropathy in my feet. Rain on either a tent or on a motorhome roof is very soothing. On a warm rainy Summer night I opened the roof vent of my over cab bed slightly and the fine spray of the rain bouncing off the roof into my face was so cooling. My last motorhome was a six berth coach built affectionately named Granddad's Bus by the grandchildren. We took them all over the UK rarely using anything but wild camp sites, preferably next to a beach. Most of them are grown up now but they still chatter happily about those times when we all get together. Age has caught up with me now so it's hotels and dining rooms these days.

Good to see you on the road, Steve. And crazy neighbor and his lady too boot! I get to live vicariously through you as I'm stuck on the farm, with tons of snow and animals that need me! Thanks for the upload, my dear. God bless. I lost my husband over 20 years ago now and I still feel a sense of peace when I go to places we used to enjoy together.

That french fries cooking set up was straight out of a Jason Bourne movie, levelling a house as he wonders off down the back garden munching on fish and chips until his hand started shaking. That little camper is sublime.

When Crazy Neighbor yelled “oh my thumb”, I just about cried from laughing so hard. I love seeing the relationship you guys have

Raw-cut potatoes, steam or boil mere-seconds (under 1min), spread-out, freeze, thus ready for deep-fryer: steaming makes a goo-layer but doesn't otherwise cook-them, freezing breaks inner-cell-walls for fluffiness; fried goo crisps and insides puff; but the best fries are tossed with rice-flour either before freezing or prior to frying; rice flour makes amazing texture.

That little camper is perfect, has everything a guy needs! Stove, fridge, table, bed. LOL

Anyone else catch themselves a couple times tearing up for Steve watching this?

Even the sky is crying... I've been dealing with the notion of impermanence too. Part of my science education has taught me that life can't exist without entropy because the definition of life is to resist entropy using energy. Since entropy is basically a measure of time, life can't exist without entropy. Entropy is literally a measure of change and therefore being alive means that things are going to be constantly changing whether we like it or not. No matter how much a person likes something or how much a person hates something, things always change. Love you, comrade!

Camping when it's cold, rainy, hailing and windy is way better than a beautiful weekend at home! So glad the four of you could go camping together (one of you in spirit, and the other three still here in the physical. ) I'll bet Jess was laughing (or screaming, one of the two) at the "French Fry & Hail Storm Frenzy". Love never ends.

Pro tip for anyone using Starlink with an RV - go grab you one of those $2 extension cord reels to wrap the cable up on. That way all the extra cable you never use doesn't get tangled up.
