This right here! "That Bunker feel" I call it "insane asylum" because of the padded white walls 😅 ... finally getting the natural light has been helpful!
Nice to see the house part of the Bardominium getting some light to shine in. Since you do get some weather are you going to put a overhang above the door? It does look nice! If your little girl figures out about that camera, she might steal the show.
Hey ! We are also installing a 12 foot slider on our self built home. I found this video in hopes of you talking about the flange and nailing fin that came on the sliders and how you cut them for the install. If you could help with a reply please do! It’s daunting and we are looking for a little guidance.
Clean install. I really liked the way you dealt with the wrap and insulation. That was a good idea I'll have to remember. Does the trim create a water tight seal or did you have to caulk it first?
The trim is installed under the flashing so caulk is not required to keep water away , but I did apply silicone after to the trim to keep any cold air from creeping in
I have to dig 6ft deep as its a frost free valve, but I will move that before we build the deck. Will probably move it straight back where we are planning to build a garden.
Great video! Could you advice me where can I find the flush handles for the four panel sliding glass doors. I’ve been looking everywhere to replace mine and I can’t find them anywhere. Thank you in advance!
Hi and thanks for your video very good BTW, what is the door you purchase looks easy to install and all the other ones I've seen are really hard to install.
How did you learn all these skills and did you have all this machinery for the build, amazing my husband and I are planning a barndo and do all the interior ourselves 😅
Is that a water line and septic tank cover directly outside the sliding door? Are you able to relocate them? Would not be ideal to have to look at those and not be able to build a patio.
That is a water spigot on a frost free valve, I will be relocating that before I do the deck. Luckily no septic nearby, but I am using a septic lid (from an unused septic tank) to keep the area from getting too muddy for now.
