An idea popped into my head as you where transitioning between 1beats in the different holes or zones over and under your shoulders: Since the 4 basic zones (over/under - left/right shoulders) are basically in a box... wouldn't diagonal antispin and perpendicular stuff fit in there nicely to transitoin between zones? Cummon meg, hurry up change all your patterns 90 degrees out of phase and make tasty transitons between shoulder zones!! >_^
