Double swing is the perfect build to ditch triple shout and instead go with leapquake. Because both earthquakes apply both leap and ground stomp bonuses… Leap = damage reduction of 15% (better than 12% shout talents) damage boost of 15% (same as warcry), fury Gen every 2-3 seconds, mobility, guaranteed berserk starter for DS, replaces your warcry and rally cry. Except unlike warcry, you can get this down to a 2 second cooldown. Stomp: 15% damage boost same as a warcry, 15% damage reduction (better than the 12 from shout talents, stun starter for the boost to fury generation and survivability. You can use this for fury early levels and later levels to have wotb up very fast. Iron skin: 39% damage reduction just like challenging shout (slightly worse, but you also get the barrier and healing just like you get from your shouts, unstoppable (except on a faster base cooldown) Wotb: backup unstoppable, boss killer, fury gen booster. Shouts are good, but you’ve dedicated BOTH ring aspects (shouts is 4 fury/sec, berserk on your ring is 6 fury/sec). And instead of having 6 seconds taken off your shouts, you can instead of 9 seconds taken off your leap. And then the talent investment, to get heals, duration fury Gen, and dmg reduction and berserk, you and most other people are spending 15 talent points that can be spent elsewhere in the tree. (Heal from fury spend, dmg reduction from fortify, vulnerable proc, etc)
Bro this makes me actually want to start playing again. Did not realize you can start up berserking with leap, and I've always like Iron Skin better than the shout. Good stuff.
BRO tell me why leap gives such bonuses? There are no such bonuses in the talents of this ability, there is only a slowdown, knockback and +40 energy if it hit
I tried different builds for the barb and decided to give this one a shot last night. It's by far my favorite. Lots of survivability and I can easily tank multiple elite without any issues. I farmed a few of the aspects and I am slowly changing/upgrading my gear. I started using this build at level 40. Thanks so much for sharing.
Started you build yesterday and it's super fun! But how did you get the Audacity Aspect already? I thought you only get it from completing the season on champion?
Bajhy for DS insane aspect is Smiting, on 2h u increase Crowd control duration by 80 percent, which means stomp will last 8 secs, wallop talent 6 secs, anemia will also last longer and challenging shout will also last longer guess its best for DS
Great build Bajheera, I want to start today with same but i have question. All aspect from 4 weapons are active all the time? ( + bonuses to damage/stats etc. its apply too right? or only when actualy use this weapon - same with aspect or not? ).
If anyone else has an irrational distaste for 3 shouts on the taskbar, try a version of this with Ground Stomp, Iron Skin, Death Blow, and Steel Grasp, with the Weapon Master's aspect. Steel Grasp pulls a pack to you, makes them vulnerable, initiates berserking, and typically stuns at least one in the pack. That's all you need to begin popping off with fury-neutral Dual Swings. If you're starting from zero fury, ground stomp can kickstart things in a hurry, especially if audacity aspect is on cooldown and you want the pack stunned. Deathblow for mixing in big, fury-free, F-U damage numbers on groups of injured mobs and to keep berserking going. You'd also want to sub in iron blood aspect so iron skin becomes your unstoppable, which admittedly displaces another aspect. I know it's not meta and won't scale, but using steel grasp to pull tight packs of mobs to you, all stunned, and obliterating them with DS and DB is so, so much more satisfying than 3 shouts to me. Especially before you have the CDR to ensure no waiting between packs. Overall, this stun / berserking - style build is the most fun I've had with Barb so far. Thanks Bajheera!
Hey Bajheera - love the build - on Mobalytics - I can see you are still going 2H Sword for the weapon expertise? wouldnt it be better going 1 or 2 handed mace for the added stun benefits?
We usually take unconstrained for quite some time while leveling. It’s high quality of life while you don’t have mega rage for days yet. Not too sure how needed this is in a non WW build though. It is interesting to mess around with unbridled early on with this build that Baj is making.
I just can’t bring myself to have more than 2 shouts. Not having at least somewhat of a variety of attacks makes the game significantly less enjoyable for me. Even if it means sacrificing an attack or a defense buff.
the reason why no one goes unconstrained is because berserking is an additive damage multiplier, and it giving +25% additive damage to berserking would be the equivalent of let's say you have a weapon at end game with 70% damage to close enemies, that passive would be like increasing that to 95% damage to close enemies, it's meaningless in the grand scheme of things. But gushing wounds obviously doesn't apply, unbridled rage I think doesn't fit well with the fury refund on double swing and walking arsenal could work but not with frenzy, maybe flay with a 2h and to have some more vuln uptime and walking arsenal would at least give you a 20% damage multiplier

Does anyone know how concussion interacts with DW 2 maces vs. say Mace and Sword? Does having two maces give concussion a 60% chance or is it still just 30%? Just thinking about how Magnum Opus would fit into the build
I would think that since both of your weapons hit when you use double swing, effectively yes you would have a 60% chance. That being said, there's like 4 other ways to stun people so it might be pretty good.
Played Perma Berserk Double Swing for the entire pre-season, and I've got some numbers that are quite...demotivating 😅 The "Unconstrained" talent does not increase Berserk's Damage to 50%, sadly. From what I've found, it increases the damage of berserk to 30%. It increases it by 25% of the 25% of the base berserk, which makes it just a 5% increase in actuality 😔It's additive. If berserk makes you go from 1000 power to 1250 power, unconstrained will make you go to 1300 power instead. Not really great. What IS great this Wrath of the Berserker and the last upgrade to it, which gives berserk 25% more dmg each 50 Fury you spend. You can stack this crazy high with Double Swing and maintain it. Thing is, it does not go away when Wrath expires, and so, if you can maintain the berserk untill wrath is off cooldown again, you can do it again and get even stronger! It gets quite ridiculous after 3-4 Wraths 🤣 Just keep the berserk going and you can, in theory, stack infinite dmg!
Nice. Double Swing is good. Was great in season 0 but my dmg got halved by the patch... Still good though. I didn't play hota because i was a console controller player so i couldnt do the non targeting bug.
The only problem with this build is requires direct one to one damage. I prefer some AOE with whirlwind, leap, charge or upheaval. I tried it for a bit but then went back to my 5 million crit whirlwind build for this season.
@@dannyvandegroep6280 I'm having fun with the OP damage I like to see it but rouge was unfun for me was naaaah and I left the game like in 3 days I don't want to do the same thing over and over and over why I can't just play my S0 barb and play a s1 with out this shit again and again I don't like s1 and I think I will never play the game this days I don't want to play because what will happened in s2?? we will do the same fkn thing again naaaah men I just prefer to do anything I don't want to be slave in the game :D
Lunging, HOTA, Deathblow, triple shout with walking arsenal is the way. At 68 I’ve death blow for 950K and HOTA for 600K. Lots of fun, interactive, fast. Hits all the checkboxes for me
