My fav part of every GnR show is how they play Double Talkin Jive and Rocket Queen in every set but play it different every time and just jam out like crazy. They're so rewarding to see live, never the same show twice.
Love seeing guitarists just jam out to the max, not caring about a few mistakes, just playing stuff that sounds super badass. Awesome to see, and pretty rare, especially today when everyone wants to be overly perfect and way overly produced..
I agree. It's actually quite difficult to play when the guitar is hanging that low, balls level. But the real drive and rock is obtained only when the rocker enters the courage and his music may have a few mistakes and deliberate negligence and passion. P.S. Greetings from Russia. The time has come when the whole world should carefully listen to the song "Cold War".
@@benjaminaxselholm Same. Its really not cool when you cant even tell if the video is fake or not. If there is a mistake or two, at least you know they are really playing 🤣🤣🤣
@@jack14kd Adler was the original drummer in the band. I know Sorum did the recording for this song. Sorum is one of the stiffest, generic rock drummers in my opinion.
@@johnfogle2925 original is ordinal and no one can ever take place of steven adler in this band. His energy of playing that drum was this bands speciality
And has the best physique since 90s. Professional athletes have troubles running around for literally more than 3 hours and he does it as a 60 year old
Was at this show. 3 hrs and 45 fing minutes of killer Rock and Roll. Axl didn't sound great, but still my favorite concert ever. And I've seen at least 100 big production shows. Plus, they played songs never herd before live. All at one of the smallest venues that played in years. Baltimore got a real treat! Thanks gnr, for a show for the ages. Only one minor critique... Turn up the volume on the soundboard!!
And this is the PERFECT song for the Baltimore crowd because you may actually find a head and arm in a garbage can here in "Charm City"!! We dig what the f**k you're saying man!!! AXL YOU ROCK!!
Slash and Duff are solid rocks! However, I miss the tight punched rythm added by Gilby Clarke and Matt Sorum from 1992. (no discredit of Izzy's contribution in previous years) Axl... No one should expect him to have the vocal range and stamina of his youth. Now the songs are understandably way too challenging for him, and I say this in respect only. The years from 1988 - 1992 show he is the greatest frontman EVER. Epic.
They should change their name to Slash & the daisy's. Right after Appetite came out with all the competition from other bands. Slash was rated in guitar magazine as #1 worst guitarist in the world that year. He has improved at all since then. And the new drummer and back up guitarist sucks. These guys can't even hold the songs together when slash is off in never land playing God knows what. Duff is the only one left who's worth watching. Don't get me wrong I love classic G&R but this is not the legacy they were built up as. Velvet Revolver was a better band.
As much as I like slash, his playing now is very much convoluted and jibberishesque every time. there’s no melodies or lines that get stuck in people’s heads. Compared to the 90s era, where he’d ply a nice melodic solo, some blues, but also have his moment to shred. Talking about his impro not songwriting
2 Moses: Finally we did as the Eternal had commanded me, and we headed back into the wilderness toward the Red Sea.[a] For a long time, we wandered around Mount Seir, 2 until at last I got new instructions from the Eternal:5 Don’t incite a fight with them because I won’t give you even a square foot of their land. I gave Mount Seir to Esau, and I want his descendants to live there.
6 Felling His own dwelling like a garden hut, God destroyed His meeting place; He did away with the sacred festivals and Sabbaths in Zion, and in fierce anger He ignored and spurned our leaders- our king and priests alike.2 Buried beneath the dust, Jacob’s houses have been swallowed. The Lord did this without mercy, shattering her fortresses. God brought down to the ground daughter Judah, and defiled her kingdom and her leaders.
20 As He was speaking, He revealed the wounds in His hands and side. The disciples began to celebrate as it sank in that they were really seeing the Lord.24 All of the eleven were present with the exception of Thomas.
Leaders of nations stand united; rulers put their heads together, plotting against the Eternal One and His Anointed King, trying to figure out1 You are wondering: What has provoked the nations to embrace anger and chaos?[a] Why are the people making plans to pursue their own vacant and empty greatness?
