Acrylic Pouring Technique - Traveling Ring Pour
The traveling ring pour is similar to the regular ring pour but the only difference when doing this technique is the movement of your hand while pouring. So instead of going in a circle you are going to pour in a circle while moving your hand or traveling across the canvas while still pouring the rings in a ring motion. I hope this makes sense!
I purchased the round canvases that are 10 x 10“ from Michael’s during their 70% off sale!
This is a good time to always stock up on canvases because you can get multiple canvases, practically for the price of one during the sale and they only have this sale three times a year!
Acrylic Paints used are
-Titanium white Amsterdam all acrylic standard series also mix with deco art pure white satin enamel and FLOETROL
-Custom permanent, red violet light
-AZO orange mix with iridescent orange yellow by PEBEO
-Custom magenta mix with deep magenta and pink tourmaline, extreme sheen acrylic paint by deco art
-Custom PHTHALO blue mix with extreme sheen sapphire
-Primary yellow
-Custom iridescent, green blue mixed, blue green and extreme sky blue topaz
I love creating custom colors because most of the time I am adding metallic paint to my regular acrylic paints.
 All acrylic paints are mixed equal parts paint to floetrol and small amounts of water to thin out a bit.

Once painting has completely dried, I use a Professional High Gloss Varnish by Winsor & Newton.
All artwork you see here is original work created by me on a gallery wrapped heavy duty cotton canvas.
This fluid acrylic painting has been handmade by me and can not be duplicated.
The acrylic paints used in this painting can be used in another painting.
