I have had 6 Royals since March 1st, got them from playing 1 line, triple line, DD, Deluxe and Joker Poker. Last year I only got 4 which included being dealt 3 on a triple line, good luck to you.

Holding the pair of tens over the 3-card consecutive straight flush draw was the correct play by a large margin (4.02 vs. 3.40). Pairs rule when you get double for two pairs. (At least the draw didn't have a ten in it to exacerbate the error!) I enjoy listening to you and wish your next session will be lucrative. Still, you lasted a very long time to be playing $7.50 on a measly $115 stake!

Your strategy commentary regarding proper play has to be helpful for the beginner. To have a chance at any VP game you have to know proper strategy cold. To knowingly deviate from correct strategy is one thingm , to guess at proper play is just plain foolish. The one book everyone who plays VP should have is "Video Poker For The Intelligent Beginner". by Bob Dancer.
