Showers are better than tubs and easier to clean!! ❤ Tip...if you dry it out after every shower you will not have to clean it!! 😊

How about put the 4 older girls in the 2 rooms with jack&jill bathroom so they will have more privacy (2 per room instead of 4)? The 5th bedroom can be the boy's room (just install double bunk) or put the smaller boys there and create a separation in the 2nd living room for 1 son, the other half will be the homeschool room. In that way, you can minimize the work needed.

Put the spare sheets for the beds, in a plastic container that rolls underneath the bed, will give you more room in the linen press.

Thanks for the tour! It will be so wonderful to move in. So excited for y’all! I loved that you have a lot of plugs. It is going to be beautiful when you put your decorations up. It will take time to do your dreams. You’ll get there. You may feel different about some things after you move in and that is normal. I’m so thrilled that you finally get to move and I’m sure the kids are too. You’ve had a nice place to live while you went through all the ups and downs. Im so glad you decided to buy new home, not used. I know you will be happier. Looks so good.I would do front porch and mud room and shelves where you need, other than that i would not get strung out. You've been through some stress, so just enjoy this new home. Its beautiful.

This is definitely a LIVE OAK HOME! One of my top favorite manufacturers. Their Homes are wonderful. Quality. I’ve to a lot of them on my channel over the past 3️⃣ years. I am strongly strongly, considering purchasing A live Oak home brand model. I’m torn between the Sprinter and the Spartan model… and also the Gametime. So happy for you and your family. How about a cupboard with sliding doors for your toiletries and cleaning products in the wall your building to make a pantry and like a barn sliding door on the pantry save space. Looks amazing. So excited for you all. X

Congratulations 🎉 on your new home. One suggestion have a builder check that wall before you remove it, you can cause a roof damage and a lot of damage if it is a supportive wall which I have a feeling it is. Just a suggestion, please note I hope it won’t be a problem but I have seen people do that and it cost them deeply.

I know money is always a factor, especially today, but one thing you may want to consider is replacing the walls with drywall and added a thin soundproofing between each room.

It is actually sheetrock in the house… we will do something eventually though. I want to ship lap the living area and we will prob do that over the sheetrock.

May be best to take your door yiu aren't using on your new pantry and just put a doorway not a knockdown in the boys room that way the boys are separated. I know this from 8 kids. Peace is a door. And I'd think of a walkout for both big kids rooms on that back from those rooms to outside so they have stability of I'm grown up I can go as I please faith in them. They have chores, and work to do then let them go as they please. Our parents thought the same thing growing responsible kids you need the value of doors. They can also decor their entrance, help with building those decks if they feel thought of in the planning.

I agree. I don’t like carpet. But doing what budget allows for now. Trying to be smart with spending. It is a high traffic grade carpet though. So hoping it will work for a bit. When it’s time we will do something else.

Put the boys in the master bedroom, you and dad in the Jack and Jill the littles in the other Jack and Jill. The room off the second living room homes school room. No wall removal. or reconstruction . When some of the kids are gone you get your master bed back. You’re gonna run into some re-wiring with all those plans

Be careful drywalling without a permanent foundation. Those walls serve a purpose of allowing the home to shift. People who drywall MH on non-permanent foundation are more prone to cracks. Just something to keep in mind. 😊

I had a friend that did a wrap around porch on there trailer. In the back she did wood on bottom and screen end on top with shutters. Had a wood fire place on one end and a bed. So when one of her many kids needed alone especially when you get older it's nice once in awhile. They could spend a few days out there and be safe. I love wrap around porches. My sister trailer they added a big living room to the front of trailer and what was living room became a bedroom. But there all different ways to make it work. I have seen two trailers put together. Beautiful home. Y'all going to love the country life.

With adding. That. Mud room build it larger that way add large pantry for storage for pantry, paper goods. , maybe a second freezer too. That way you don't loose space in your master bathroom. If you plan to build mud room off back Of trailer. Go large in building on..carefull tearing out walls, you may weakin ceiling and struts. Another idea think about buying a large storage shed 12x20 size convert it to a school classroom away from home. Some storage shed sales have repo ones for sale. You would love it by having everything with school in one area. N good luck im so happy for all of you. God Bless

I have a suggestion! What if you pu the washer and dryer and freezer over where you were going to make the pantry. And make where the washer dryer freezer are supposed to one big pantry on that wall. I was watched an old video that showed your bedroom set up and a comment from you said one day you’d love to buy land and build- so cool that you’re here now 😊 Also, I love so many of your ideas to change up the house, and of course you should do what’s best for your family, but it seems like it might be nice to have a big boys room and a little boys room. We recently purchased our 5br 3 bth double wide & we also didn’t get to walk the floor plan. . . It was scary buying a house & not getting an actual fill for it lol. We got the triumph model, the manufacturer won’t let you change anything on the inside of it either. We’ve done a few updates already. It’s nice to have so much space as our previous home was 3br 2bth. Thanks for sharing😊

We live in a 2200 square ft house and we put our pantry in the laundry room. My hubby built floating shelves for our pantry storage and it's perfect for pur large family. The laundry room/pantry is off the kitchen and has a door that leads to thr backyard.

My family and I have a 3/3 2500 sqft MH and I wish the space would have been used better my laundry room is not that big which I wish it was I wish I had more hallway closets or linen closet I’ve found work arounds and plan on doing a built in to add more storage space that’s I guess the advantage of owning a MH. What you better add at the side door is a big carport or garage with a safe room and a huge pantry that will hold deep freezes and an extra frig. Have your husband build pull-out shelves in ALL your bottom cabinets.(check YT for how...simple. We live in a double wide. We did the carport thing makes all the difference in yucky weather. Took the strips off the walls and put sheetrock mud overall and painted it. We put 4×8 panels of bead board in the kitchen/dining area, easy to clean. No coat closet so we put several large hooks on a finished board in the laundry room and in a short hall. One for us, one for guests. We built a very large front porch with ceiling fans and porch swings. Check with the manufacturer before removing any walls to make sure none are supporting walls. Get a metal roof put on as soon as you can afford it.
