i see india dying exactly the same way as america..... they are currently doing trans surgery on 13 , 14 year old children by first brain washing them that they are either not a boy or girl... even when it comes to obesity an unhealthy population is good for the fast food industry, so they call people who exercise as fat phobic through movies like this, one thing i dont agree with you on is that criticising fat people is bad... criticising them is necessary how else will they go out and exercise or control their diet, even worse this will have a bad affect on all people in our society when more and more people become fat , our children under their influence will start eating unhealthy as well..

Recently in our neighborhood, A caring dad was telling her daughter "Beti, please wajan kam karo... exercise Karo" . Usually, boomer uncle/aunty is a term used to define relatively old people who have regressive thoughts. I don't know from which angle "take care of your health" or "be careful" is regressive. Too much of "chaltha hai" attitude. However, they don't have this "chaltha hai" attitude towards everything too. They have this "chaltha hai" attitude only towards good advice. This same gen z commits suicide if they are scolded by their teachers. Gen z is living in a mixture of toxic social media influence and a bad attitude towards elders. They have to understand the bottom line that "no one apart from your parents genuinely wants you to be happy and fine".

Body positivity was for acid attack victims, Or People who has seen some worst Accident, or the people who cannot change there physical even if they try it ( Genetically problem ). This is a huge problem in the west. I have been living in Canada for past year or so and there are two spectrum of people either they are fit or they are 'healthy' (overweight). When I moved to Canada I was 94kg but advice from parents and seeing older people who are healthier than me motivated me to exercise. Now, I am steady at 65 kg. I am proud of the progress I have made in a year or so.

Then she would body shame people like me who workout for a healthy lifestyle. Her husband too used to workout everyday. He got fed up of her unhealthy lifestyle, her bad behaviour, and separated from her. She tried her best to victimize herself but most people didn't support her. Some of us asked her, "If your husband was overweight, had an unhealthy lifestyle, and body shamed you, would you have stayed with him?". Her response was, "Yuck! Overweight men are ugly. If he wants me to stay, he better stay fit". The hypocrisy and lack of awareness here!

Solutions: 1) If you naturally have a big or small size, accept it and keep a healthy lifestyle. If your size is a result of a disease, get treatment. If it is a result of your unhealthy lifestyle, improve your lifestyle. Straightforward. No need to overthink. 2) Don't comment on people's weight if you are not their doctor, close friend, or family. 3) When you do talk about the weight/size of a close person, present your points in a respectful way so that the person understands the good intentions and doesn't get defensive/"depressed".

Two usual things in bollywood. 1. Try to sell a shitty lifestyle and then sell a solution for it. 2. All today's films are made from the POV of kids or youngsters, I'm pretty sure if the same movie was made from their parents POV, it would be a totally different movie, one that would for sure make us cry, how much our parents love us and only want the good of us.

You won't see these types of films in Hollywood. I mean movies made on just a glossy social topic (one word concept). Just a good topic cannot guarantee a good film. Hollywood will preach about social topics in news and magazines but they directly don't make movies on these topics as you cannot make a movie just on one topic without a good story.
