Can anyone help me? So I am 13, and I started doing tae-kwon do 🥋 less than a year ago I am a green belt ( but it has been passed down from the coaches son. He won his first international comp in it. This means ALOT in my club as he has never done this before) and I have been to 2 competitions the first one I lost but I was a white belt fighting a blue tag and the second one I was a yellow belt and I won gold 🥇 the score was 49:7 ( but 5 of my opponents points were from me kicking her in the head when I wasn’t allowed to ) any way I am doing well I also won best female fighter in my club but there is this one girl I always have to fight she is 3 years older than me and about 20- 30 kg heavier than me and she sorta takes advantage if that but oh well 😔 . What I really need help with is how do I put my training and practice into a match I always seem to forget what kicks to use in different situations. Can anyone help?? Have a nice day. From Alicia Also thanks to my TKD coach Chris and everyone who has helped me get this far today.😃 Also does anyone know any good vids to get in shape for TKD If so plz tell me. Thanks 👍🏻
Damn, I could do this when I was 13, I did TKD in my teenage days and I were pretty good with kicks but then by growing up I started to become more of a fists guy so I switched to boxing and Muay Thai. In the street fights I had almost never used kicks only fists, elbows and dirty fighting, now at 26 yrs old I´m having my TKD interest back, I´ve still got the flexibility ;) Greets.
I'd have to say the same thing for myself it makes me want it even more. Also on the other hand it helps me to see things you normally wouldn't see when working with a partner because you have to think individuals scenarios and the counter-attack
Nice Channel i love the consistancy definately a Sub from me! My dad used to be a proffessional Taekwondo Fighter 1st in the country and 3rd in the world for his weight class
I can rapidly do these doubles from 10 to 20 without stopping but i have one problem.... As soon as i start doing it i don't know what happens my kicks loose power and speed and it makes my doubles look ugly and weak, so can you please help me with that....... Your fan from india😇
i okey with high choping kick and turning kick.. but how to kick high side kick.. face level.. i would happy if u make one about deadly kick that can make ko..
I've been watching WWE, and can you please go teach Naomi how to do multiple kicks properly? She must have seen someone in taekwondo do it and thought she'd copy it...I wouldn't say she doesn't have potential to do it better but you do it right. She doesn't. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-seNCWFCKcOQ.html FYI I'm a 3rd dan and also love this kick combo.
I keep getting punches straight down the pipe even if I land both of the kicks. What should I do to prevent that? Make sure they cover up before I throw the chain kicks?
better late than never..I found your channel today and already tried this..great tutorial. .thanks for not missing the tiny details in your explanations .keep up the good work.
good tutorial. and yes you start with a jump to practice it ,but when you become good at it you leg and hip impulse will do all the work. you won't have to jump. and the double round house will be almost impossible to see. just one thing when you were doing the defensive round house moving backwards. I used to to do it with the supporting ball of the foot not leaving the ground. it has to slide back with your whole body. this will glide your body back and the kicking leg will almost be invisible. you can also do it on the offensive approach. you impulse your back leg as with the round house kick, but you don't extend it until your target is in reach. at the same time your supporting ball of the foot should slide forward. my teacher could glide up to 8 feet , then snap the round house. your aponent would think you can't reach him . I'll try to see if I can do a video. maybe after 20 years I can still do it. anyway good work. your getting better.
My daughter's favorite kick is the double kick. She wanted me to link her 1st instructional video to this so you could see it. ( she has a martial arts room too)
Hi, just to emphasize on the jumping part, its more of a small hop and switch rather than a jump. i had a bad habit of thinking it was a jump last time and this relly affected me when i tried to bring it up to triple kicks. when you jump and land your hips will sink lower to compensate for momentum thus causing you to lose momentum. SO a small switch hop would do :)
Yes, you are right! In the first drill I went over I did use the term jump but when I actually went over performing the full kick I said to do more of a switch and stay low and not jump :)
A: How do I do this without getting countered in between the kicks? I find as soon as I throw my second kick and load the third, I usually get a straight punch to the face. B: Can you practice this without a bag? I can't seem to get the right rhythm if I'm not hitting something solid with the kicks
I originally learned doubles in the cone shaped one and helped me a lot when doing 3+ kicks at a time! The only downfall is you idon'thave to fully turn your hip over on the cone shaped one vs BOB or another bag that's flat. So i'd make sure to get used to both but when first learning I think it helps a lot having the cone shaped one from my own experience :)
great video awesome basic combo to learn. Maybe a tutorial on setting up side kicks for sparring, as well as rear side kicks, both offensive and defensive? Also Alex what is you opinion on Brazilian kicks in TKD?
Will u help me for my spinning hook kick???I am having a great problem in that kick. When I realise my kick my kick doesn't go at that higher point while spinning.
